My son (5) had circled this in the toy catalogue as one of his "wants" for his Birthday or Christmas. He got it for his birthday and I figured it would just be another set that we lost all the pieces and unltimately stayed in a box in his closet but this set is actually really cool. It comes with plenty of pieces to have a lot of pretend play and the building is easy enough for even my 2 year old to put back together to ultimately knock down again (Although her little hands aren't as steady and sometimes knocks it down trying to put it back together). The box it comes in is actually a very nice box to store it all right back in other than I wish they hadn't left the top right corner open but stored standing you won't loose anything. We also stored all of the smaller pieces into a ziploc. The box is big enough that I think if we purchase the other buildings they will all fit into this one box. We did however learn the first time we put the crane together that if you want to store it back in the box don't push the crane all the way into the base or it will take a flathead screwdriver and much patience to get it back apart. The crane actually fits in without snapping quite securely. The truck that was included is a nice little truck and the tailgate even comes open so you can slide the cinder blocks into the back of it from the conveyor. My 2 year old has turned the conveyor into a slide for the other guy that is included (we call him Chuck Norris or Bob Villa as he looks a lot like either). All in all, I think this set is definately worth the money as both my 2 and 5 year old both greatly enjoy it and can each use all the pieces just fine.

This is a great toy and it comes complete with everything shown, today, many building toys do not come with figures. My 2.5 yr old son loves playing with this set, driving to the work site, building and destroying! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a toy for their little builder.

The crane works. It's extremely durable. My son has played with it every day for a month. He sleeps with it. He drives the car, the two men, and all of the tools, all over the house. It is a surprisingly awesome toy set.

My grandson loves this toy. He particularly enjoys that he can rebuild himself the structure
once he knocks it down. It has provided him with hours of pleasure.

My son received this as a Christmas gift and it remains one of his favorites. He loves using the crane and knocking down the building. He plays fairly rough and it is holding up very well.

I have bought a lot of products off of Amazon.com but this is the first time I felt compelled to write a review. I bought this toy for my grandson five weeks ago and he has played with it everyday since. He was not quite three years old at the time and I had concerns prior to purchasing it whether or not it would be age appropriate. When I gave it to him, I initially spent some time playing with the toy with him, helping him to understand the building construction, and then he was able to do it all by himself in no time at all. This is a wonderful toy and worth every bit of the very reasonable price.

We got this set for my then-2-year old. Although familiar with Handy Manny, the parts which captured his imagination are the crane and clock tower. The clock tower piece is actually several panels, some scaffolding, and a base. You can put them together and then knock them down, or play with them.

The crane breaks down into several pieces, and you can raise and lower the hook on the crane using a little crank. My son has spent several hours fiddling with the crane gantry assembly, and the crane itself, especially the spool that the hook cable winds onto.

Overall a good set!

Pro:
+ Good-quality construction
+ a variety of pieces which can be put together / taken apart in the crane and clock tower
+ good likeness of the characters from Handy Manny
+ sturdy! Still holding together after months of sporadic play!

Con:
- none relevant

I think this is a great gift for any toddler who likes putting things together / taking them apart, whether or not they're familiar with Handy Manny.

My son loves this set. He uses it a lot and not always all together. For example, he likes to use the demo ball to crash down blocks instead of the clock tower. He goes back to this toy often.

Cons: here are a lot of parts so you will likely lose something. The crane is tough to come apart, takes a bit of force.
