Booster Seat or High Chair?,
This review is from: Fisher-Price Healthy Care Lion Booster Seat - Yellow (Baby Product)
I was debating about whether I should buy a high chair or booster seat for quite some time. I hate clutter and I didn't want something too big being that he will outgrow it soon. I feel this is the best choice I made. Its cute, it attaches safely and tightly to the chair and he loves being in it. It is also very easy to clean which is important to me. I didn't want any fabric on it that I'd have to take off and wash all the time.
My son is 6 months old and determined to learn how to sit on his own. He loved this chair. I recommend it. Great price.

so great that I bought 2,

A "normal" high chair was too obnoxiously huge for our kitchen and we wanted our son to be able to sit at the table with the rest of us so we purchased the affordable lion booster. We liked it so much that we ended up buying a second one a month later so that we could have it already set up at both our kitchen table and our dining room table. Our son (now 9 months old and big for his age) really likes it. We even use it at the piano for him. It's easy to clean and straps on tightly to our chairs - without leaving a mark. This was an excellent purchase that I recommend to everyone with kids. Don't buy a big highchair - there's no point.

My son loves this seat!,
This review is from: Fisher-Price Healthy Care Lion Booster Seat - Yellow (Baby Product)
We bought this for my son when he was about 17 months old. We were ready to move the high chair out of our dining room, but weren't comfortable using the products that go under a traditional dining chair and lift it up - he's just too active for that. He's loved this chair since we brought it home. We don't use the tray, we just pull him up to the table with us. It's attached securely to our own dining chair, is very easy to clean and can easily be removed if we're having adults over for dinner.
Now when it's time for a meal or snack, I just ask him to go stand next to his "lion chair" and he knows what to do. He loves being able to eat at the table like we do and we love the ease of this booster. We'll definitely take it with us when we go to grandma's house, etc. Highly recommend it based on price, durability and the fact that my son loves it.

with 3 small grandchildren this was a great purchase. We use it as a booster seat for the 3 year old & he does not think of it as a baby seat. It's the lions chair.

I bought this for $20 at Babies R us and it is one of the best investments I have ever made. It's the one thing I think that has be invaluable to me as a mom.
I originally bought it for a secondary high chair at Grandma's & Grandpa's so it worked great when my daughter was first sitting up and learning to eat baby food (it's really stable when strapped to a fold out chair and helped hold her up when she was first learning to sit up herself as long as the tray is in place). My girl was in the 96 percentile when she was little so it came right up to her belly when she was strapped in and the tray was in place, but she was comfortable so it's a good design as far as size. As she grew older, it was a great accessory as a booster chair without the tray when she sat at the table. Now that she's out of booster chairs, her little brother still uses this chair 3 years later and it's in great condition. We've kept in the car and it's great at restaurants where the booster chair is lacking or disgusting, or when we go to other family member's houses. We've brought it to several camping trips through out the past three years between both of the children and it works great sitting on the ground or up on the picnic table (obviously you can't leave the child unattended) because it helps contain the child with a nice tray to eat from. Also, I thoroughly appreciate the simplistic design of the tray and seat because it means no places for food to get stuck in crevices/hard to clean places. The straps (two that connect the booster chair to the seat and another set that straps the child in into the booster) can be removed and put through the wash. One of the straps that connects the booster chair to the seat is long enough so it is designed to be a shoulder strap if the chair needs to be carried around (oh, and the lion back folds down so it more compact) which is great when I'm lugging around my all children's paraphenalia. It's not very streamline (it's like carrying around a little box) but it's minimal pieces, easy to clean, contains my little one when it's time to eat.

I bought this for a friend and his daughter just love it. Besides the price (expensive) it really works fine for them.
It is really big, but isn't heavy! The shipping was fast.

Convenient for eating out but lion face doesn't like water,

We use this chair when we're eating out. A lot of restaurants don't clean their high chairs properly, and I like knowing that she has a clean chair to eat from. We often put the food right on the tray as she's still using her hands to feed herself. Putting the food on it allows us parents to eat and not worry about any dishes being damaged or her getting germs from restaurant tables (not being sure how clean their rags are). Although it's light, convenient to carry around, and adjusts to any chair, we prefer eating at a booth so we don't have to strap it down. When packing it up, it is a little hard to get the sides of the tray to line up just right and click into place, but it's not a big deal. My one complaint is that the lion face is a sticker made of paper which gets ruined if it gets wet. The face sticker has a thin plastic coatig but water gets underneath the sides and cause damage: discoloration, bubbling up, and peeling off. I suppose you can try to be extra careful when cleaning the back but I don't see how it's possible to avoid messing up the lion face. I wish the face was painted on the plastic. The baby loves the chair, though, and enjoys learning to sit on it when I put it on the ground at home.

Very easy-to-use and child-friendly booster. Easily portable also if unsure if a restaurant has suitable seating for a child.

We got this seat to leave at my parents house so we didn't have to get a seperate highchair when we visit. It is so nice because it can be attached to any chair. My daughter even likes to sit in it on the ground! It's really cute, and attaches really securely to the back and under the chair. The only thing is that if you have wood chairs, be careful how tight you attach it since it can cut into the edge of the wood.
