Good first truck, but the people are very small and could be a choking hazard. They are about an inch tall. It wasn't a problem for us except that we lost one little man within a few days. However, the truck is a good size for little hands and the noise isn't too loud or annoying. I wouldn't recommend it for little boys who like to take their cars/trucks to bed with them -- it has sounds and lights that go on when the dumper is slightly pressed.

My 4 year old Grandson just loves Geo Trax, so many configurations and options to choose from. Geo Trax will keep him busy for hours.
