My mom got this for my son for his second birthday last June. I'm really impressed with it. It's nice and solid, we've owned it now for a while and its still going strong, and my son's favorite activity is to make it walk off of things!

You press a button on its back and it walks forward and moves its head and tail from side to side.

The walking is really great! I wasn't sure how well a fairly inexpensive toy like this could really walk, but it does - on our kitchen floor, carpet, even our bumpy couch it did fine! It's simple for the child to use and makes great dinosaur sounds and stomping noises when it walks. It's a big hit for sure.

All I would say is if your child is prone to being scared of toys, this might not be the toy for them - my son had no problems with it, aside from not really wanting it to walk directly at him at first, but I know my daughter at that age would have flipped out and been terrified, she was much more sensitive, so keep that in mind when purchasing.

This one is still a favorite 6 months later!

Undoubtedly one of the best dinosaur toys on the market. The entire line of Imaginext dinosaurs are wonderful. Since September, his toy has been owned and frequently played with by a 3 year old boy who has dropped it on a hard floor numerous times and plays with it very hard hard. Even after his rough treatment, the toy has no signs of wear whatsoever and it is still functioning as if we just purchased it. It is absolutely one of my son's favorite toys and because of its durability and quality, it is one of my favorites as well.

My son got several Imaginext toys for Christmas and this has turned out to be his favorite. He also got CRUNCH THE KENTROSAURUS, RAZOR THE T-REX, MEGA T-REX, and a blue parasauralophus (not WHIP).

The sounds is realistic, the material is high quality and best of all... the movement is very purposeful and realistic and it won't fall over. It can walk on a hard kitchen floor AND carpet. That has been our major gripe with new toys, they can't walk!! So this was a major plus in my book. Also, the button is very easy to press and a 3 year old can play with this with no assistance (unlike the motorized T-Rex).

I gave this and the other walking/roaring dinosaur that fisher price has to my son for his first birthday(He's 18 months now). He absolutely loves these! There is also one more that is sold exclusively through target that I bought him recently, he will line them up at the end of the hallway and push all three buttons as fast as he can so that they are all walking and roaring together. I know that the reccomended age is 4 and up, but even younger kids can enjoy this! I even then bought it for my 16 month old nephew... My sister told me that it makes him crack up every time he pushes the button.

My daughter loves these dinosaurs! They are durable enough for a very energetic 5 year old. She has been playing with this one a lot. The sounds are great and it is fun to have him walking across the living room. My baby also likes to watch him move around...

My son (4 1/2) only wanted this toy for Christmas. It was all he asked for. He had seen it in a store when we were out shopping and when I went back a week later there were none left. I searched around and finally went to Amazon to see if I could find it. I did & needless to say it made his day on Christmas! He opened this last and loved it. It roars, walks and is very durable. Thanks Amazon!

My 3 1/2 y-o son has had Trample for about a year now. My son is a dino fanatic, but Trample is definitely the best. His head moves side to side when he walks in this funny way, and we love his sound effects. The kids' favorite game with Trample is to watch him walk off the coffee table, which he's done about 100 times with no ill effects. A good buy!

We got this for our son for Christmas this year. He already has a few imaginext dinosaurs from last year and before that, and they hold up well, so we decided to let him have another one this year and we just know he's going to love it! The toy roars and walks and along with his other dinosaurs, our son will just have a blast playing with it! He has had his other imaginext toys for over a year and he plays pretty rough- still the toys hold up and I'm expecting the same of this one.

We purchased this same exact dinosaur at WalMart for about [..]. Our 3 year old loves it and packs it around with him everywhere he goes. He has several dinosaurs in the Imaginext collection and loves them all. He's dropped them several times and they still work good as new. They're fun toys and very well made. Please shop around though...they're way overpriced through Amazon. They're about [..]each at WalMart or Kmart.
