Our sons have almost the whole line of Imaginext Batman/Super Friends toys. They already have a Batman car so I wasn't keen on buying my 4 year old this one for his birthday. But my mom wanted it to be from her and insisted because she knew how much he would like the fact that it would seat TWO action figures and not just one. So I went ahead and ordered it. Of course, ALWAYS LISTEN TO MOM! My son loves it! Yes he was super excited that now Batman AND Robin can sit together (or Batman and Joker/Riddler practically anybody he can fit in there!) but it also has this cool switch you can hold under the handle and it has head lights! A really strong blue light turns on when holding down the switch and we even see a tiny bat signal in the lights. And lastly, part of the back flips up and you can shoot disks out at your "enemies". I was very happy after I saw all these features and I will listen to mom in the future on other purchases :)

If you're new to the Imaginext line, I have to tell you that I have never been disappointed. They are sturdy, well built and designed toys, especially for the preschool set. They're size fits perfectly in little hands and I don't get nervous about choking hazard with these. They're also really cute and age appropriate. Yes it's Batman or super heroes, but the faces and colors are done in a way where they're friendly, not like the toys made for older kids where there is a menacing look and feel to the characters. And lastly, these toys have lasted us YEARS. We first started collecting the Imaginext Batman toys for our older son and now 5 years later, we still have them, they're still being used, they're still in one piece, not broken. That alone says a lot about the quality and durability of the line.

We got this along with the batcave, joker, and penguin for my six year old for Christmas. The seats are easy to get the characters in and out. The little light and disk shooter are fun as well. Perfect size and great addition to the batman set. Plus, it comes with a batman so when he has a friend over there's no fighting about who gets to be batman. There ends up being 2 if you buy the batcave as well. I will note that we did not pay 29.00 for it (today's price as I am posting this review). We paid 12.99. And that's probably about the right price for it. Also, we did not buy the joker and penguin on amazon. They are much cheaper in the store. I think we got them for $5.99 each.

For normally around thirteen dollars this is a fun toy. My 5 year old likes Batman, and he really likes playing with this. He likes that Batman fits inside the car and he likes the disk shooter. The disk shooter only shoots the disks a few inches, but my son still likes to shoot it. The lights are a little tricky to activate. The switch for them is on the underside of the piece between the driver and passenger seat. We also have the Imaginext Bat cave and this is a nice addition to that set. So far this is held up well to some pretty rough play.

This is a very cool batmboile. The styling is great, modeled after the Adam West Batmobile. It has headlights that light up using the handle, so it's kind of like a flash light. It also has a hidden disc shooter and that flips up and down and it contains a storage compartment for the discs so you dont lose them. It fits perfectly on the 2011 imaginext batcave turnstile and fits through the batcave doors. My two year old loves this toy and I have a blast playing batman with him. Overall, a very well thought out and fun toy.

We just received this toy as well as a couple other figures. My 4 year old would love to have Batman driving around with Robin. However, the batman doesn't fit in the car without manipulating it by an adult or unless an arm is hanging out. This has 2 seats so we thought 2 figures would fit. Thankfully Robin is a tad smaller and fits nicely. But even without Robin, Batman just dosn't fit as easily into his seat. I'm disappointed that they just couldn't make it 1/4 of an inch wider.

This is not a large car, but has been a real hit with my son so far. It takes a little jockeying to fit two figures in at the same time, but it does work - you just have to adjust their arms a bit, so they're not in exactly the same position, and it's a tight fit. But my son has a couple of these Batman figures (the black one that came with this car, and a blue/gray one), as well as several of the same style of figures in the Marvel line, and they all fit in this car.

The car rolls well. Like any toy with wheels that are hard, flat, shiny plastic, the "tires" have no traction, so on hard surfaces your child will notice that some wheels don't roll sometimes while it's being pushed. Remember when toy cars used to have rubberized tires? Me too.

The disc shooter works great. It's a very simple mechanism - just uses a little friction and spring tension, so it's mechanical and not electronic. Flip up the hidden shooter (contained in the trunk lid), slide in a disc, then push on a little slider and the disc flies out in a satisfyingly fast, but not too fast or far, way. The shooter can be angled up and down, for more fun via variety. The two discs can be stored in the trunk.

As others have said, two discs is too few. They are easy to lose. We're currently down to one after a week of use, though we know the other one is somewhere in the house. Including at least a couple more, or selling replacements, would be a good idea. I plan to measure the one we have left in case I need to fashion a replacement later. They seem to be roughly the size of a poker chip, though from the look of the mechanism, you'd need to use something the exact same size for it to work.

The headlight mechanism is a mixed bag.
