Please do not buy this product.I caught my 6 and 4 year old daughters trying to talk to each other thru the walkie talkies and happened to hear mens voices one day very clear talking very perverted and dirty things to my children..I called up fisherprice as well as the local police department and fisher price does know that it can pick up any frequency...How can a company stand by this product and subject our children to total strangers without warning us...Please please beware. I am still shaking as I write this..I demanded fisher price to let parents know the dangers but all they will do is refund my money once I return them...Big deal..

These walkie talkies are not worth the money. Their reception is horrible even within a few feet - just static when not in use and when in use the quality of the transmission is terrible (can barely understand what the other person is saying). I wish Fisher price would not get into products that are obviously of bad quality as it dilutes their "quality" brand perception.

This walkie talkie is great if you don't want to understand what is said or if you want to hear ever cb from local truckers.

Just called Fisher Price to complain about the interference from trucker's CB convesations. Basically no help, since the product is "not defective." Claim they can only use certain frequencies for toys and this may happen. I am very disappointed that FP would promote a product knowing that they may be exposing young children to adult converations. I no longer have the packaging or else I would return them.

I got these for my 2 and 4 yr old grandchildren, turned them on and heard foul disgusting language of cb radio users, could be very distressing for children. Contacted Fisher-Price about it, basically no help.

This walkie talkie will pick up foul language from other CB users. I do not recommend it. Young children don't need to be hearing that.

Son asked for walkie talkies for Christmas. Picked these up thinking it would serve the purpose for talking to his sister in an adjacent room. The moment we put the batteries in we could hear a man using foul / sexual language - assuming from a CB radio. Turned them on later in the day - same thing. There is no way to turn to another channel. My kids are very disappointed. These are definitely going back! I agree with other reviewers, Fisher Price should not put something like this out there.

These work great in suburban and rural areas. However when we took them into the city the reception was not very good, and you could pick up a little feedback from other sources. They work great in not so populated areas.

This toy is lots of fun!! However, it picks up every bit of trashy and filthy trucker talk. We've even picked up radio calls from our local police and EMT departments. If you live in the city; I don't recomend these.

Purchased this product to play with my daughter. I was terribly upset to find CB Ham talk interferrence. 1 item was defective and not usable to contact the other. Daughter walked in another room in apt as she walked away item lost connection. Surely wish I would have seen the ratings here before buying this garbage. Not 200 ft as advertised, maybe 2 steps distance!
