The Gustus that is pictured here, is NOT the Gustus that we received. Our Gustus came without his faitful companion, and much more yellow than he is grey.

He still talks and lights up and my 4 year old still loves him and plays with him all the time.

We were however, disappointed to not receive the correct product with the jupiter dog included.

Please use caution if this is what you are looking for.

Overall, however, the toy we did recieve is a great item! I believe this Gustus is newer version.

This whole series of Planet Hero toys is spectacular. Both of my 5 year olds adore this set. They are excited any time we are able to find a new "hero" to add to the fun. This figure is durable, teaches about the planets, encourages imaginative play and is used every day at our house.

Santa brought this for my four-year-old son and he absolutely LOVES it. The toy is definitely bigger than expected, but that's because (as my son explained to me) Jupiter is the biggest planet in the solar system!

While I wouldn't really call this toy educational, I will say that it has reinforced my child's interest in space. If you're child loves hearing all about planets, asteroids and other space facts, this toy is a winner, especially if he or she is still too young to appreciate more sophisticated (and less sturdy) space toys.

Being the representative of Jupiter in the Planet Heroes line speaks volumes for this toy, because as far as "action figures" go he's really large! I was shocked when I received it in the mail, and after it was wrapped for Christmas I could have mistaken it for a really large phone book.

When you push the button on his back he begins to spin at the waist making a ratcheting sound, and his arm swing freely up and out. Due to his size my son has to do this with both hands. The smaller dog toy is cute, and the purple claws pop out of his side when you push his tail, otherwise the dog is not posable at all.

Another really nice feature is that is came with some real facts about Jupiter, so there is educational value here as well.

Given all of this though, this toy is not worth what some sellers are trying to get for it. It is a retail $10-15 toy. I actually caught in on sale for even less than that right here on Amazon prior to Christmas.

This is a great action figure for my 5yo grandson. He and his friends LOVE to play with these figures because they have the big feet which makes them easy to pose and stand. They play for hours with them. They are brightly colored and very durable for small children.

We looked all over for this Planet Heroes figure and could not find it at any store near us. I was so happy to find it on Amazon because I bought it for my son's 4th birthday. He eagerly anticipated its arrival and was very pleased when it arrived. It was a bit hard at first for my son to make the figure spin around, as his hands are small, but after some practice he was able to manipulate it himself. Overall he loves it!
