I bought this for my 6 year old for Christmas. He enjoys it but unable to play independently. He also can only play on level one which frustrates him. I thought this would be a good alternative for him since big brother and sister enjoy guitar hero. I like the actual strumming and use of the pic. Songs are fun and kids identify with them which makes them easier to learn. I would recommend for children over 8 or 10 years. I hope he wants to try again later. The product is good, just not rated for a 6 year old.
