I love this toy. I got it on a whim for my son who loves music and to laugh so I thought it would be a great fit. He can't stop shaking it! :) While I would have thought that Elmo and Cookie Monster laughing would get annoying, seeing my son get such a kick out of it makes it worth it, and face it, as parents we learn to filter out most of those toy sounds anyways. Fun to watch and to even shake yourself, worth the buy.

It is a electronic rattle.. just that it makes goofy sounds. Good for 6+ month old child that can hold and shake things. It makes loud enough sound to keep the child interested. Nothing revolutionary.. but it does the magic. Not many toys could hold the attention of a 6 month old... So 5 stars all the way.

i bought this for my 1 year old nephew - he's 30 lb and still not strong enough to shake it to make noise--he has to hit the floor with it and the giggles aren't funny enough to make a kid or adult laugh.
