My husband and I came across this toy at a retail store and thought our 2-year-old would love it for Christmas. I ordered it through Amazon and was thrilled that the toy came with a stuffed Farmer Elmo.
Once my son opened the toy and we set it up, we were less impressed. The Elmo barn was flimsy and cheap looking. It is more like a gate and looked like some major part was missing. Like this was just a piece of a bigger toy. The accessories were cute though, especially the animals. Farmer Ernie wasn't too bad either. Although the toy worked like it was supposed to and didn't break immediately, I don't imagine that the main barn will last as long time. I am disappointed in the quality of the toy. My son did seem to like it but really could have cared less about the talking Elmo Barn. He only played with the pig. I would have been better off saving my money and buying him a package of farm animals. I do not recommend this toy. |
