We got the ramps to be use with our basic GeoTrax rail and road system pack. The were greater than we expected, as different hights of ramps can be built and a variety of train systems can be built in conjunction to the tracks we already had. Our 2 1/2 year old has been playing every single day with it for almost two months :-) He is also able to built new tracks by himself.

The Train Ramp allows you to add a "level up" on the Geotrax system. It can mix well with the other pieces like the bridges, clock tower, and station. In my case, I got this set to use with the Mile High Mountain to have a very tall (two level up) set of tracks, and to give the set more 3D building options (i.e., instead of just around floor - floor to couch).

Geotrax is a sturdy design and works well with a range of ages - even when playing together.

We love putting this fun train set add-on together. We play with these for days at a time.

I would have liked more variety for the money. It is highly likely you'll need many track packs.

I cannot really speak for my 3-yr old son, but from what I can tell, we have been having a lot more fun after having this additional set.
Well, I am usually the only person putting the imagination and creativity. However, I started seeing the interests from my son, and he started putting things together as a pretty good "co-engineer". Not only for this set, the whole Geotrax stuff is good and recommended.
The price for this set is reasonable, but some others are a bit expensive...

We always need more Geotrax and it's getting harder to find. Thanks for the track supports and ramps.

My son is 4 1/2 yrs old and loves playing with his Geo Trax accessories. The more track the better however you (parent) have to have a creative mind to put all the additional tracks you purchase to keep the trains from going in a circle. It's lots of fun though once you figure out your track design and see it in motion.

Our son can't get enough Geo Trax. He is only three and builds elaborate layouts nearly every day. He's had some sets for over a year, and they are holding up great.

My Son loves Geo Trax. I bought my Son tons of different Geo Trax packages. I'm amazed at their durability and quality.
