Isn't it Amazing?

Cha-ching! Get ready to cash in on playtime fun and learning with the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Piggy Bank! The piggy bank introduces baby to counting, colors, animals, and sizes through friendly role-play, all wrapped into an exciting piggy bank theme. With 10 colorful coins to drop into the Piggy Bank’s slot, and an open door for put-and-take play, it’s a toy with lots of exploration. Baby can press piggy’s nose to hear musical responses and sing-along songs that teach colors, animal names and counting skills. Big coins show animal moms, little coins show babies. And, just like real coins, the coins have heads and tails – with the front and back of each animal. Put coins in, take them out, press the silly piggy’s snout – baby will be laughing all the way to the bank. Watch their faces light up as they explore, discover, play...all those moments when children learn best. That’s why Fisher-Price builds learning into everything we make. With playful ways to engage curious minds, exercise little bodies, and nurture budding personalities. Because nothing’s more amazing than sharing the joy of learning with your child.

What is it?

Whether baby is putting money in or taking it out, the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Piggy Bank is sure to provide fun for hours. With five different colored animal coins (10 coins total) each with heads and tails, baby can practice animal names and sounds while learning to count and sing songs. Want to put money in the bank? Slide each coin through the top slot and hear one of five different musical ditties each time a coin hits the bottom of the bank. Want to take the money back out? Simply pop-open the Piggy Bank’s clear door, decorated with numbers 1 to 10 on the side, and get back to the fun. The Piggy Bank’s big coins have grown-up animals on them and the little coins have baby animals, making it easier to tell them apart. And when baby would rather sing than count, simply press the Piggy Bank’s nose for fun sound effects and songs to keep the smiles coming. It’s singing, counting, and learning, all wrapped into one, with the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Piggy Bank.

How Does it Help My Child Develop?

Designed for children ages 6 to 36 months, the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Learning Piggy Bank is a playtime toy that helps baby learn through everyday experiences. With the introduction of counting, colors, animals and sizes, along with music and songs to enhance language skills, the learning keeps on adding up! The Learning Piggy Bank strengthens eye-hand coordination as baby sorts the coins and places them in the bank. Pressing the piggy’s snout activates fun sing-along songs and musical responses to stimulate baby’s senses, also reinforcing how baby’s actions make things happen.

The little door was not too hard for her to open.

This toy counts the coins as they drop in, and it also plays music and says cute things when you press the pig's nose.

This toy entertains our girls for hours! I bought it for them when they were 13 months old, and they have been consistantly playing with it for five months! The price is very reasonable for the amount of entertainment received. And our door falls off too (when pulled off) and it is easy to put back on - no big deal.

I run an indoor playground for small children and this is one of the favorite toys, regardless of the child's age. It is cute and is great for building hand-eye coordination.

Ok, I have to admit that one of the first things that drew me to this toy was the cute little songs it sings. We don't purchase many talking toys for our house, but I made an exception for this one. It is not annoying at all, and it has a volume switch.

You can press the piggy's nose to hear several little dittys, or put coins in the slot and it will sing or count, depending on if it is switched to the "music" mode or "counting" mode.

At the time we got it, my baby was really into "putting and taking", and now that he is a little older we use it to teach colors.

I considered giving only 4 stars because the door seems just a little on the flimsy side and ours doesn't close exactly evenly like it should, but I am picky and overall this is a 5 star toy. I liked it so much I got one for my friend's baby for his 1st birthday.

I bought this for my 9 month old son. I think the concept is neat; however this toy needs improvement. The toy is faulty because the door does not want to stay closed and after you put in a few coins it pops open on its own. After you add a coin, then the toy exclaims "one", then you add another coin and the toy counts "two". We have had problems where if you add a coin, then push the nose, then go to add another coin, then the toy looses track and does not count consecutively, which is confusing for a child learning to count. I was really disappointed that it only plays 3 songs or so and they are not very fun. I do like the volume feature and the coins are cool colors!

I bought this toy for my daughter last week when she turned one. It's really cute, and even my 2 and 4 year old boys like it. One thing I do love is that the volume is LOW! It's so refreshing to have a toy that doesn't annoy the &^%* out of us!

However, my two year old pulled the door off with no effort at all. He just reached over and popped it off. Now every time I snap it back on (it does snap in easily), it doesn't stay. It falls off constantly and drives me crazy.

But other than that, it's a cute toy.

My 1 year old saw this toy at a friend's house and everytime we went there she played with it. I got it for her and I ask her to go get her pig and she gets it. She LOVES the pig! She plays with it at least once a day. The plastic door does fall off a lot, but it's easy to put back on. The volume is very low so you won't get a headache. The songs are cute and catchy. If your child loves putting things into other things, this is the toy to get. If you have the Fisher Price Oreo Matching Middles toy, the halves of the oreos fit in the pig too and make it that much more fun!

I had seen this on the toy store shelves and thought it looked boring but my mother in law bought this for our 2 1/2 year daughter and she loves it.Yes we have also had the problem with the door but it does go back on.It is better that it does give rather than gets broken altogther. My daughter loves too sort the coins into colours or the next time she might sort into the sizes.Like most toddlers she loves to open and close the door, take the coins in and out.At other times she will just dance to the music.I was totally surprised how many games could be made out of this toy and how many different things it would teach.Like the colours, manners(excuse me),size, numbers, songs.Overall we are very happy with this toy.

I just bought this for my 19month old son. It was the last one they had on the shelf. He absolutely loves it! He has been playing with it for over an hour. I do have to agree with the other reviews about the door. Its not exactly flimsy but it does come off if pulled too hard, but its not that bad. Overall I think this is a wonderful fun educational toy. I highly reccomend it.
