4.0 out of 5 stars Music last for 20 minutes
I have BOTH Fisher price Ocean Wonder + Lil' Laugh & Learn Mobile
Ocean wonder doesn't fit my Crib very well, so I buy Lil' Laugh & Learn months later. LLL Mobile fit my Crib perfectly, the Clamp Crib adaptor are much wider to fit most crib, Ocean wonder doesn't fit and My husband "cut" part of the Crib Adaptor and tried to fit it on the crib.

2.0 out of 5 stars WAy to slow!
This mobile creeps so slow its annoying and hard to keep baby attention, I also think their should be a setting so you can keep it going as long as you want, when it stops before baby is totally passed out and you have to restart it makes sleep time longer!

I have BOTH Fisher price Ocean Wonder + Lil' Laugh & Learn Mobile

OW mobile music only last for around 8 minutes, so I have to come back to the room every 8 mins. This Lil' Laugh & Learn mobile music last for 20 mins, so I can sleep while the baby is entertained, she usually fall asleep in 20 mins (or maybe another 20 mins)

However, the light(moon)on the LLL mobile base only last 2 mins, if you use it in a dark bedroom, the baby probably can't see the flying toy, baby can only see the projection light on the wall.
OW has light dome which light can stay as long as the moble is ON(8 mins), so your baby can see the flying toy in the dark room

OW projection light are much more beautiful & BRIGHTER, the Lil' Laugh & Learn is dim and yellow

I bought the OW last year, before baby born while LLL is not availabe on the market, and got the LLL mobile when she is 2 months old. Now, she is very excit when she sleep underneath the LLL mobile. I put the OW on the desk and use it when she is awake, but it seems she like the toy flying "above" her, not "beside" her.

Our baby LOVES it.it is so much better than a regular one song mobile..every time the music changes, the fun starts all over again.the remote control is a great feature ,too bad that the light doesn't turn on as well, but over all -- a GREAT sweet product.
would warmly recommend it .

This is the best mobile I have gotten!! My 13 week old daughter will lay under it and just watch it for a long time.....long enough to have to reset it a few times. It has been a lifesaver! When nothing else would settle the cranky little girl this would!! Don't know what we did without it.

4.0 out of 5 stars WONDERFUL ADDITION TO THE NURSERY, September 20, 2008
This review is from: Fisher-Price Lil' Laugh and Learn Sweet MoonDreams Mobile (Baby Product)
My mother bought this mobile for her grandson. He is only 10 weeks old and he simply loves it. He wasn't interested in too many other toys, but he will lay and stare at this mobile for a long time. He goes to sleep with it every night. I also turn it on while I'm in the room changing him and it distracts from the cold baby wipes. The different songs are wonderful, and the mobile mechanics aren't loud at all. (I heard that in some mobiles you can't hear the music over the turning of the mobile). The stars are only one color, but they show up nicely right above his crib. The room does have to be really dark.

The only problem I've had is sometimes the remote will turn the mobile on or off and sometimes it won't. Haven't quite figured it out. Also, it's too bad that the remote doesn't turn on the night light. By the time I creep over to his crib and turn it on, I sometimes wake him up.

UPDATE: My son is now 28 months old and still uses this to go to sleep EVERY night! The mobile portion is packed away and he is in a twin bed so the 'base' just lays on the floor next to him. He simply loves the music. Maybe it's because it is just so familiar to him by now. And if he is having a rough night and needs to sleep with mommy, I just put it on the night stand next to the bed.

I bought this product for my friends' first new baby and they both love it. They especially like the remote control that allows you to use it without entering the room and accidentaly waking up the baby. An absolute must for all new parents!!!

My daughter has been enjoying this mobile for months. She is now 11m onths, and I had to take the mobile out of the bed because she kept trying to pull it (the mobile itself and not only the hanging puppies). The only minuses I have about this product is 1) the dim yellow light of te stars and moon on the wall (although at some point it is better than a bright light if you have a baby that needs darkness to sleep); and 2) it doesn't convert to a "music-only device", i.e. the upper part doesn't come out (or I have missed the point, and of course after 11months I don't have the user manual any more). So I am now looking for a music and light "mobile" that wouldn't have the upper/hanging part. However, it is difficult to find one that has the same sweet music (Mozart, Bethoven and I forgot the 3rd one) with the soft light that lights the bed that can be turned on if needed (for a few minutes).
But I love it, it is a great mobile from birth to about 11 months). I also had the tiny love mobile for my first baby, but this one is much better.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very cute... but please make it shut up!, November 15, 2008
This review is from: Fisher-Price Lil' Laugh and Learn Sweet MoonDreams Mobile (Baby Product)
The little plush animals are much cuter in person than they are in pictures. Once you see it in motion, it's really nice. I particularly like that the stars move at a different speed than the other characters.

But the tinny, unpleasant music that comes out of it! Please make it stop!

If you want it to move, you have to put up with the music. If you want the lights projected onto the ceiling, you have to put up with the music. If you want the music... well, that's your business.

Why couldn't there have been settings for "Motion, no music?" "Lights, no music?" and "Lights and motion, no music?" I gave it four stars, but it was a wrench because they didn't at least include a mute button.

When the time comes to introduce baby to Bach, Beethoven and Mozart, I'll put on a CD and introduce her to good quality sound too. When the time comes to introdu... no, come to think of it the time will never come to introduce her to that other song.

I may just have to dissect it and clip the speaker wire.
