Product Description

Product Description

This adorable picnic is almost as sweet as baby. With two modes of play, baby learns about colors, shapes, foods, greetings, counting and more, all while enjoying a beautiful picnic (without the ants)! This picnic basket recognizes shapes and colors as baby sorts, promoting problem solving skills with fun rewards. Opening the lid activates charming sing-along songs and sweet sounds. The set comes with a basket, four colorful food shapes to sort, and a printed tablecloth for more matching play. Everything stores inside, and the handle makes it easy to take on-the-go! Includes 3 AA batteries.

From the Manufacturer

Picnic time is really sweet with treats to sort and share, a basket to carry, and plenty of learning and singing on the menu! Requires 3 AA batteries.

Customer Reviews

It is great for working on motor skills at an early age.

I love that the picnic blanket has the same shapes on it that come with the set, so you can match them up to the blanket, not just on the basket itself.

I like this item and I like it even better now that I can get the exact same product CHEAPER.

This is educational and cute. It teaches shape sorting as well as foods, counting, and greetings. It also sings. There really isn't anything wrong with the toy. The only reason it got 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is that it's kind of expensive for what you get, which is basically a musical shape sorter. There are so many toys like this out there that you might not want or need to pay the price for this one.

Leapfrog makes a picnic basket toy that offers way more for your money. It comes with 2 cups, plates, and forks so children can play with it together but still offers the shape sorting and other educational things. It is also bigger and has less annoying music. That is the one I prefer.

First off let me say I love Fisher Price laugh and learn toys, which is why I purchased this toy for my daughter. She likes the toy but the handle sometimes get in her way when she is playing with the toy (she is 7 months old). She likes playing with the LeapFrog picnic basket that my niece has better LeapFrog Shapes And Sharing Picnic Basket. This is a really cute toy and a good multi-purpose toy (shape sorter).

My daughter got this as a gift, I wish we would have taken it back and gotten the v-tech picnic basket. For the extra few dollars that one acutely looks fun. My daughter has no interest in this toy at all.

This picnic basket is uplifting and gives activity instuctions. It also gives children the opportunity to identify and place shapes in the correct place. It is portable entertainment, and loads of fun.

Our family is a huge fan of the Laugh and Learn series of toys and this one is no exception! My 15-month-old hasn't looked twice at the little "blanket" that comes with it, but she absolutely loves putting the shapes into (and taking them out of) the basket. The toy talks about each block as it's passed through its slot--including color, shape, and food pictured on it. The shapes are easy for her to get out of the basket because the bottom of the inside slants down and the lid flips open for easy access. Plus, the toy sings songs when the lid opens. If you like this one, I also recommend the "Say Please Tea Set."

I purchased two of these toys for two great granddaughters, one 9 months old and the other 17 months old. This basket full of fun and learning, both were delighted and also their mothers, (my granddaughters). It has 31 songs to listen to and sing along and also a learning experience by putting the appropriate item in the right hole. The 17 month old just put it on her arm and walked around while she tried to sing along.
