My daughter asked 'Santa' for an Abby Cadabby doll for Xmas and she got it. It is great and keeps her so entertained. I wouldn't call it an "educational" toy as it doesn't really teach her anything, but I'm sure it won't hurt her to have ONE toy that does NOT teach something! ;)

I'm not sure on the durability of it because we moved not long after she got it and she now only sings part of the songs and does not fly, but I will have to double check to see if it is that the batteries don't have enough juice. Otherwise, it's great.

This doll is very cute but my daughter set's it on a shelf and NEVER play's with it. Since the day we got it something has been wrong with it. Sometimes it does what it says it will do and other time's it doesn't. I do not recommend this toy at all!

My little girl loves this Abby - She got it for Christmas and is still in awe of the way she moves up and down. Abby sings a wonderful song about friendship. That is the educational value of it.

My daughter really likes this doll because it lights up, talks, and the wings flap. She likes to take it to bed with her because the doll's wand lights up and it's helped her to stay in her own bed at night! We've had no problems with it, it has worked great. 5 Stars!!!

This is my daughter's absolute favorite toy. When it's working it's really cute. She's only had it for about a week, but she already sings along with Abby's song and gets so excited when Abby "flies". The only problem is, Abby doesn't sing or fly anymore. She goes through her first two phases, but she does nothing when you push the button for the third time and doesn't say "Again, again" or "Twinkle out" when you don't hit the button again. I changed her batteries and now she doesn't even do the first two every time anymore. I hope I can figure this out because as I type, she's pushing Abby's button and saying "Mama, Abby no fly." Help!

THIS DOLL IS TERIFFIC!!! OUR 19 MONTH OLD LOVES IT. YOU WOULDN'T KNOW SHE GOT ANYTHING ELSE FOR CHRISTMAS. SHE CALLS HER DABBY. THE MORNING AFTER CHRISTMAS SHE WAS SMILING IN HER SLEEP & SAYING DABBY DABBY DABBY. WE READ THE BAD REVIEWS AND WERE WORRIED. SHE DID STOP DOING THE LAST PART WHERE SHE FLOATS & HER WINGS FLAP AT ONE POINT AFTER 3 DAYS OF STEADY USE. NEW BATTERIES DID THE TRICK AND WE HAVE HAD NO MORE ISSUES. SHE IS SOOOOO MUCH FUN AND REALLY CUTE. WELL WORTH THE MONEY. AMAZON DID A GREAT JOB OF GETTING HER OUT TO US. WE COULD NOT BE MORE PLEASED.

We looked at about nine Learn to Fly Abby Cadabby dolls in several different stores. All of the wands lit up, all of them sang, about half of them stood up, about a third of them flapped their wings, and none of them waved their wands, (as advertised on the box). We ordered a singing Abby Cadabby with a video. It did nothing when it arrived, but the box stated that batteries were included for demo purposes, so we thought we were dealing with dead batteries. We replaced the three button cell batteries, and the doll still did nothing at all. Three days before Christmas, and I ordered the plush doll by Gund and am having it sent by two-day-air in the hopes it might get here in time. Fisher Price is the name on the box, but try to contact them! You'll get a list of their partners and then you'll have to figure out which one to blame. Good luck.
Would not recommend this cute doll at all, since it can't even make it off the shelf without breaking.

I have purchased two. The first didn't flap it's wings. I sent the first one back and received a another. It doesn't flap it's wings or rise on it's toes at all about 80% of the time, or sing without at least a fifteen second delay every time I push the button. Changing the batteries is no help. This toy is junk.

I absolutely loovvee this toy! I purchased this toy for my 2yr old for Christmas and she's going to flip out when she see it on Christmas Day. I recommend this toy for all the little fairies in training! It's a really cute toy and the wings even flap!
