Fisher Price: Learn Through Music Learning System - Barney's Colorful World Cartridge

My daughter has three of the cartridges for Learn through music, and Barney's Colorful World is our favorite. There is great variety in songs, and the screen games are easy for her to understand. Each screen (15 total),has a different song.
It covers the most wide variety of concepts of all of the cartridges including: shapes, vehicles, numbers and counting, safety, recycling, sizes, direction, sounds, sea animals, colors, basic alphabet, etc.
The games include matching, tracing, basic identification and fun songs.
This is a must cartridge to have in your collection.

We got this when my daughter was 2. she is 3 now, and while I did not think it was as educational as the Dora and Blue's Clue's cartridges she has, for the Learn Through Music......it is still good and she loves Barney. It kept her busy.

The Learn Through Music series are wonderful educational toys. The base Unit comes with "Elmo's Scavenger Hunt", and this cartridge and all 4 additional cartridges (with additional cartridges being released every so often) provide excellent stimulus for your little toddler (ours began using hers at 15 months), as well as effective alphabet, numeric, letter-matching (to words), and sing-song fun for your special little girl or boy.

Of all the toys my daughter has, this is her second favorite (it's hard to beat a stuffed animal "woobie"), and to me that says a lot.

I believe your child will both enjoy these toys, and learn from them too, and it's hard to ask for more!

I've never been a Barney fan, but my daughter loves him, she sings along, dances and is learning to count.

She got the Learn Through Music Player for her first birthday and so far we have bought all the cartridges we can find. Unfortunately that seems to be limited to 4 - and the Elmo/Sesame Street came with the player. I really hope they come out with new cartridges.

It says in the description "Requires Learn Through Music Player" and the item title says "CARTRIDGE". How do you miss that?

My daughter has had the Learn through Music with Dora for about one year. This year she got the Barney cartridge. She's always liked the Dora and has played with it a lot, but she LOVES the Barney. She has really caught onto the songs, shapes, etc. This was a great purchase! My daughter is almost 3, and she sometimes needs help switching the cartridges, but she can easily do everything else independently (which is very important to her).

I have a 4 year old who has had this toy for over a year now and he just loves it!!! The toy is very durable and the cartridges are a lot of fun.

I was so excited I sent this ordered this present from Amsterdam to be delivered to Asuncion for my niece who lives in Cairo, to find out you need something else to play this toy, WHAT? I am looking all over and can't find the main toy you use to play these Music Cartridges? PLEASE somebody tell me what is it and where do I buy it? Can't find it in Amazon; no warning, no advise, no suggestion. HELP!!!

i found out what it is that you'll need to play the cartridge. you'll need the "Fisher-Price Learn Through Music Learning System". i got a little curious about what you had said, and wanted to know for myself, b/c i have a little girl and would like to get her the same product. only b/c she is crazy for barney. hope that helps you.

When I ordered this toy, there was nothing to indicate that I need another part for this to be used. I only found out when I got it and now I cannot find the other part. It is totally useless unless you have both components.
