4.0 out of 5 stars Great for the budding conductor with imagination!
My three year old son loves music and musical instruments. He also really enjoys the Little Einstein series. This toy is a baton with a light and music but with my son's imagination, it is so much more. When you move the baton in time, the lights blink to the beat. He parades around to the music and conducts with any song playing on our sound system. While we have many...

3.0 out of 5 stars Too Much Talking
The constant pat phrases being emitted from the baton interfered with the fantasy emerging from my son's mind. He rarely uses the toy, even though he is a huge Little Einstein's fan.

While we have many musical instruments, he loves leading his own band too. If your child loves music and using his/her imagination, then this is a great toy. If you want a toy that does all the thinking for your child, then this is not for you. I would but it at Target as it is cheaper in store than on-line.

I paid $10.99 @ Target for this toy and at that price, I think it overdelivers. The music is pretty and my son knows all the names of the composers and songs. So we get a liitle education and a lot of fun at a fair price!

Who ever is trying to sell this for $17 is ripping you off!! I bought this at Target for $8 for my daughter. The batteries were worn out, and they were no ordinary batteries, they were "watch" style, 3 to be exact, and it costed $10 to get them!! The toy itself is kinda cute, but not worth the expensive batteries! Save your money!!

Way too loud and there is no volume switch. Talks too much, I wish it just played the music. Too repetative - my 2 year old got bored with it really fast.

What a waste of Santa's money this one was. The noise the wand makes is annoying and very high pitched. Broke after about two days. Save your money! I think making a wand out of something is more fun and allows the child to get creative and use their imagination a little. This is a useless toy.

I was initially impressed, my son loved it, he's 3. Then my 2 year old daughter pulled the top off. That's how durable this item is.

My three year old son begged me for this toy when he finally did his business on the potty. He absolutely loves it, and pretends to be Leo all day long, but it really needs a volume control!! The toy is way too loud, especially if we are in the car. He takes this toy with him everywhere, and I'm glad he's enjoying it, but it makes my head pound after a while.

I purchased this toy for my 2 year old grandson, because of its inexpensive price. He loves the Little Einsteins, however, he grew bored with this toy almost immediately. Also, the crayon would not stay in place when he tried to draw with it. This product reminded me that "you get what you pay for." I would not recommend this toy.
