Product Description

Product Packaging: Frustration-Free Packaging

The My Little Lamb Infant Seat is a deluxe infant seat that snuggles baby in soft and so cushy fabrics. There's a sweet lamb's wool headrest to cradle and support baby's head and wonderfully soft velboa fabric where baby sits. Overhead, baby has an adjustable mirror dome to entertain, and a sweet plush lamb with rattle dangles from a star for baby to play. Vibrations soothe baby plus beautiful classical music and lullabies, 10 songs in all. The music plays for 15 minutes continuously, and can be played with or without the vibration. Additionally the toy bar rotates out of the way to get baby in or out. The rear leg folds under to make it very flat and the toybar detaches for really easy take along for nom. A three point restraint is included and the pad is machine washable.

Customer Reviews

Nice vibration and music options.

Wish I could give it 5 stars, but because of the timer issue, it can only get 4.

As a first-time parent, my newborn daughter loves this. She is kinda fussy and wants to be held all the time, but putting this on with vibrations and sound will soothe her and if repeated cycle after cycle will put her to sleep. That leads to the first "con" - the built in timer doesn't last long enough. They should either have a longer timer, or the option to have it constant on (un-timered). I am still on my first set of batteries, but can see how this might be a hog for them. So the other "con" is they should maybe offer a dual power source - have it run on batteries for portability, but maybe offer an AC adapter so you can put it in one place and let it be.

I'm still giving it 5 stars because these are ways to improve what is already a good product, not something "wrong" with it.

As for some of the other negative comments: It's not a bouncy seat, BUT it's not advertised as such; "It didn't work for my baby" - it's a baby, not a robot. What works for one or even most rarely works for ALL; The music's too loud/annoying/etc. - I find I can tune it out pretty well, it's typical lullaby stuff, so what do you expect for a baby product. As far as background noise goes, one can do a lot worse. It is loud enough to hear aross a room, but not through walls or anything crazy. Just loud enough to let you know when it stops.

I am a first time mom of a baby boy, who is now 10 months old. For the first few months, there was absolutely nothing better - of all of the items on my very comprehensive registry, this seat was one of the best, most useful things I received. It is soft, comfortable, plays music my son loved and was soothed by, and was just terrific. I never review anything, on any site, yet I heavily rely on other reviews when buying something. I must say, this is terrific. I suggest getting this and a fisher price bouncy seat. We had the rainforest bouncer and it was similarly an excellent, useful purchase. FP is the best company - better than the more expensive brands.

I used this for two daughters, one in 2010 and another in 2013. We used the product from birth until around 8 months with each. It has held up through two kids well. It washes well and the girls really enjoyed it especially the first few months. After 4-5 months, they don't want to spend too much time in it but we've added toys to it and that helps keep them occupied while mom can do the dishes next to them as they weren't sitting up unsupported too well yet. I recommend it as it is cute and functional, but I do wish it had more toys to keep baby distracted. Sometimes I found myself wishing I had chosen one with a toy bar, though I added one by tiny love that didn't quite fit.

This "seat" is an absolute lifesaver the first few months! Yes, they do outgrow it after 6 months or so (depending on the size of your baby) - but think of it as getting a lot of extra sleep and peace for 6 months or so. If this is your first baby, you might not realize how much you'd trade for some sleep - but trust me, it is well worth it. One of the reasons that babies sleep SOOOO much better in this for naps, etc, is that they are at an angle - aiding in breathing and digestion (and a lifesaver for any child with "silent" reflux - the kind that goes into their esophogus and burns, but doesn't make them spit-up, and often goes undetected). It is at an angle for the same reason they are at an angle in the hospital bassinets.

Plus, when they are awake, they can SEE everything - which makes a huge difference in their happiness. My daughter adored this seat and was very happy to hang-out as long as she could see what was going on and could be involved that way. I only wish they had made these when I had my first child!

We received the lamb seat as a gift about two weeks after our little one arrived. This seat was hands down the BEST gift we received. We've used this chair everyday (multiple times a day) since we received it. Our daughter is now almost 5 months old. The seat is so soft and cozy (compared to other bouncers), the vibration and the lullabies that play help to soothe the baby. It is also very light and easy to move between rooms. We actually set the seat on the dining table so that our little one could sit with us while we ate, and has brought us peaceful dinners since the very beginning. This was our family's best alternative to holding our little one non-stop and now I give it to everyone I know as a shower gift!

The chair is very sturdy and soft and our son loves it, but it could be improved...

1. It does not bouncy.
2. The music only has one setting and one volume level.
3. It EATS batteries.
4. It turns itself off after about 10 minutes, which is good to save batteries, but I would prefer to choose between a timer setting and constant on, since our son wakes up after it shuts off.

I would *probably* buy it again.

We bought this seat because a friend said her newborn stayed in it all of the time. This was not a good decision. I really wish we had a bought a more traditional type of bouncy seat. While our son really didn't complain about sleeping in this during his first ten days of life, he has not really spent any time in it since then. Why? We are not exactly sure. He simply doesn't like it. I'm almost convinced that it is because of the angle of the seat. He is squished down in it as soon as he sits in it. I don't like the fabric. He starts sweating almost as quickly as I put him in it. That can't be fun for him. At four months, he will sit in it for ten minutes or less swatting at the inadequate toy that floats above the seat. The vibrating mechanism has never done much for him nor has the music. The one thing I do like about it is its portability. When we first brought our son home, he would sit in this on the table, on the ottoman, on the floor, or anywhere. It was nice to have him with us but not in our arms. Beware that the seat does not fit through a standard doorway when it is flat. That means that if your child falls asleep in it, you better like the room you are in. I would not recommend this product. Better products are out there.
