Fisher-Price Little People Builders Floaty Boat

When I first got a Little People toy set for my 1.5 year old, she just played with it for a few minutes taking all the parts out and spreading them around the apartment. I was very relieved, therefore, when I brought this home and my daughter was so involved with the toy that it all stayed in a 3 foot radius!! (She even brought her Little People baby over from her room to play with in the boat) She is mesmerized with stacking the blocks stored inside the boat in the boat(there are 7 circle indentations inside the boat that can hold people or blocks) or on the holes on the outside. There are three shape sorter windows (easiest shape-sorter I've seen so far from Fisher Price!), and the whole thing can float in the tub (although for some reason my kid prefers to "vroom vroom" the thing around the carpet). I'm looking forward to when she gets older and can start using the boat for pretend play.

My son received this for Xmas at around 18 months.
It is a toy he consistantly comes back to playing with.
It was great idea to incorporate the shape sorter into the top half of the boat.
It was also a GREAT idea to create the starter outlines on the bottom as well as on a couple places on the top so the blocks can be stacked.
My son has only plyed with this once in water, he has been completely satisfied with it on the floor.
It was such a big hit I bought the train version of this set for my nephews 1st birthday.

My 3 year old loves this boat and plays with it in the tub as often as we'll let him. he has no problems with it, and takes it apart all the time too. I noticed that the top felt loose until I realized it was designed to snap tight. Once I noticed that, no issues

My almost-3 year-old received this last year and she's never really been taken with it. The stacking element is pretty simplistic, so I think she was bored pretty quickly. And the little man is not so cute, though she likes the whale. But the boat does float, which not every toy boat does! I also don't like that it's not BPA-free, so you might look at the safer Sprig boat set instead. Frankly, until Fisher Price makes a commitment to safer plastics, I'm avoiding their products.

this toy is cheap. this doesn't float. it is a complete waste of money. it comes apart. don't buy it.

My 10 month old LOVES this toy. He is in a big dumping phase, so it is great to dump all the parts out of the boat. He also loves to pull apart the blocks when I put them together and swing the little cargo door on the back of the boat. Not many toys keep him engaged for any period of time, but this one will! With the sorting and building features, I'm sure this toy will be a winner for a long time to come.

My granddaughter loved the boat. She played with it for two weeks on the floor before it even made it into the bath. And now it is a great bath toy!!!
