I couldn't disagree more with the previous reviewer. I think this is a great collection of songs. Most infants we know including our 8 month old daughter absolutely love the songs. Don't listen to this CD with an adult's perspective. The tunes, background music, song selection, etc. are all excellent and I believe particularly well suited for little kids (the people producing this music apparently have backgrounds in child psychology).

I would definitely recommend this CD to add to your child's music collection.

My 13 month old son absolutely loves this CD, he runs to his CD player when it is in and begins to "bop" and clap his hands to the songs. I think the kids have likeable voices and would recommend this CD.

My daughter loves this tape so much I need another. She can sing along with all of the songs clearly at 20 months old. She will even do the hand movements for itsy bitsy spider.

As far as the other response - it's not about the adult - it's about the child - and it's obviously had a VERY positive influence on both of us.

I have tried buying several different CDs for my 22 month old son and this is the only one he wants to listen to! He starts asking to listen to it as soon as we pull into the parking lot at our apartment complex. As soon as it starts playing he is dancing and singing along. He listens to it over and over again and never gets tired of it. And, surprisingly, it doesn't drive me over the edge to listen to it either. I really can't say enough about how wonderful this CD is! Buy it. Your child will love it.

My daughter likes it but I accidentally bought 2 and contacted amazon, was told I have to pay shipping to send it back. Well, it's not Amazon's fault, I just don't feel very comfortable, so 4 stars. :):) Well, I should rate it 5 actually. :)

The product has been stolen during shipment: I only have the empty package. After writing to Amazon they immediately sent me a new copy: this is great!

All the songs are really good. My daughter and me are really love all the songs. The artwork at front is so pretty. I like this disc very much!!

These are the songs many of us grew up with, and they are presented here (by a Canadian company) in decent quality. The singers' voices are pretty good -- and they use names like Maggie, Sarah Lynn, Eddie, etc. which are the names of the current crop of Little People characters. My toddler loves this CD and listens to it ad nauseam.

This is my very first review on Amazon but I feel compelled to write how much my 2 yr old and I love this cd. My child requests it multiple times a day everyday. In fact, I often use it as a bribe (if you do this, you can listen to the fun music.) I love it- very well done. Kind of like listening to Disney musicals! Great way to engage your kids, have fun and dance with them, and teach new words. Very happy I got it.

This last September we were on Holiday, doing some driving around Canada. Our baby was just turning one year old and had not done a lot of traveling. We wanted to get some music to help entertain her as we traveled. We went to Wallmart and picked up a variety of children's CD's. Of all of the ones that we purchased I have say that this one was the best! Many of the other CD's simply used a synthesizer for the music, to back up kids with questionable talent. With this CD, Fisher-Price obviously spent some money for real instruments, and professional direction, of a group of kids that could really sing! There is emotion, humor and infectious enthusiasm. Our baby learned to clap her hands the first day out with this CD. Whenever she would start to fuss on our trip, we would plug in this CD and she would just start to smile and clap her hands! I have probably heard it over 100 time now and still enjoy it my self. I can't say that for any of the other CD's that we purchased for that trip. Some only got played half way through before we had to eject them! I usually don't take the time to review items but felt that I must put in a good word on this one. I am here now because I am getting one for my granddaughter, who is just two months older then my baby.... I know, I know.... But sometimes, starting over can be fun, and this CD has added to the pleasure!
