Fisher-Price Little People Lil' Movers School Bus

Amazon.com

"Stop and go," that’s what riding the school bus is all about. That and enjoying the bumpy, "wiggly-wobbly" ride, of course! This cute bus will appeal to every toddler and preschooler who has gazed longingly out the window as the big kids board the big yellow bus, off to exotic destinations unknown. Measuring 12 inches long and half again as wide, the durable plastic bus rolls through town, jostling the passengers with the aforementioned "wiggly-wobbly" action. Push down on driver Carlos and see flashing lights, plus hear the "Stop and Go" song, beeping horns, giggling children, and commentary from the driver ("Everyone sit down…let’s go to school!" etc.). The bus includes driver, two passengers, a wheelchair for one of the riders, a swiveling stop sign, a door that opens, and easy access through the roof for children to play with the figures. The ideal toy to while away the hours until the real thing arrives in a few years! Check out the entire line of Lil’ Movers vehicles. Three AA batteries required (not included). (Ages 18 months to 3 years) --Emilie Coulter

My son got this for christmas at 18 months old. He is now 2 and still plays with it. He loves putting the people in and out of the bus. The bus driver when pushed down plays music and the eyes move on the bus and it lights up. It's very awesome and durable.

This is a great little toy. However, I found it at Toys R US for $18.99. I looked at all the the Little People stuff on amazon and most of it is way overpriced! I used to depend on amazon offering the best prices but it just isn't true anymore.

I just wanted to write a quick review. My daughter got this school bus when she was just a baby, and loved it. She's three now, and still plays with it on a daily basis. It's a classic that every kids should have.

My son LOVES this toy! The reason i only give it 4 stars is because the doors keep popping off. The Doors arent hard to pop back in though.

My son received this for his 1-yr birthday. He is 15 mos. and he plays with it more than ever.

WHAT HE LIKES ABOUT IT:

-putting the Little People in their "seats" and popping them back out

-opening and sometimes completely removing the doors

-putting the Little People in the wheelchair that comes with the bus

-getting on his knees and pushing the bus

This is the only Little People toy we own and we're very pleased with it. I think it could get really annoying listening to the songs it plays but you have to put the driver on his seat and press down on him to activate it. Fortunately my son doesn't care for that feature. I keep the batteries in it because it has helped distract him a couple of times when I was getting him dressed or something.

My son got this on his first birthday. He's now 2 1/2 and it's still one of his favorite toys. The door pops off if he bends it too far, but he made that into one of the games. He keeps popping it off, and brings it to me to pop back on. He even used it as a ride-on toy before he grew too big.

I don't know about the wheelchair though. I suppose it was included to show even people who can't walk can ride the bus, but he didn't care about it, so I just boxed that up with other toys he doesn't care about.

Very durable toy, the sounds aren't too obnoxious or overly long, and he has fun putting the little people and other toys in and out of the bus. highly recommended!

This school bus is addorable! It comes with 3 little people and a wheelchair. The back of the bus features a wheelchair accessable entrance/exit which is really neat. It allows you to explain to your child why that may be necessary and can lead into all kinds of topics as to the differences in people and handicaps or disabilities. When you press down on the bus driver if you have him in his seat - it plays a catchy little song. The only thing I could ask for in addition to what is already there is something attached to the front of the bus so that a child could pull it along behind them while walking.
All children should have one!

My 3 year old grandson has been having the best time with this set. He has really started pretend play and this really adds to it. He makes the figures get on and off the bus through the doors. He has also started to sing. I heard him singing along with the "stop and go" song that it plays. I also heard him singing "The Wheels on the bus" while he was playing. I believe this is a very durable toy because I caught him riding it himself. A nice bonus was that it came with batteries and that they are AA, so easy to replace.
