Fisher-Price Little People Musical Zoo Train

This was a birthday gift for my daughter when she turned 4. Ours has a slightly different pattern as it was purchased 4 years ago. It has been very durable, and been played with by many children. I like that it doesnt do "anything", it gives children an opportunity to use their imagination.

My Grand daughter likes animals and choo-choos. So what better present for a 2 year old girl named Phoebe with a head full of curls? She can play with the animals separately. And she can play with the train cars separately.

My son received this for his first birthday. He absolutely LOVES it! It is one of his top 5 toys that he plays with. He loves being able to take the figures and move them about and push the engineer's seat and make the sound. He carries it around and it stays hooked together well. He knows that they go together, but isn't quite able to reattach them yet, but he will. I see him playing with this train for years to come. HIGHLY recommend!

My nephew, who's now 11 years old, received this toy as a gift when he was a baby and spent hours playing with this little train and all it's passengers (Back then it came with the driver girl, a tiger, a red parrot, and a giraffe) When I had my first child, she inherited a lot of his old toys, this train included. She also loved the train and played with it a lot, so when she out grew it I packed it away for any future kids.
In 2010 we had our second child and he has now inherited the train and it's still going strong (minus the giraffe, which was lost years ago) The music still plays perfectly, the seesaw still moves the tiger and parrot (no longer included from the manufacture) up and down, and the pedestal for the giraffe still spins round-and-round.
If this little train is still made like it was 10+ years ago then it is, for sure, a great investment!

Love this toy!! It's the kind that you're going to want to keep for years after the original little owner growns up, or pass on to another little owner because it is very cute, encourages imagination, eye-hand coodination, it's sturdy, it's pretty, and will even be attractive on a shelf when not in use.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my grandson. The description said it played jungle music and made animal sounds, however, the train I received played "Mary had a Little Lamb" and made no animal sounds. I think it is well made, but I think someone goofed up with the music.

My son got this for his first birthday. He isn't quite ready to play with it but he likes chewing on the people. His cousins who are 2 and 4 really enjoy this set. I think it is very colorful and durable. I'm sure he will enjoy it more as he gets older. It is priced fair at about $16. If you like Little People toys you will like this one.

My boys love Little People and trains so this is the perfect toy for them. They love to load up the animals and take them for a ride. There are all kinds of ways you can play with it if you use your imagination.

My granddaughter LOVES this toy! She loves to put the animals and driver in different places, and roll it along. I like how the animals can be used with other little people toys as well.

My son received the Fisher Price farm as a hand-me-down. It's an older version-- about 10 years old. Anyway, my son loves all the animal sounds and removable animals. He also has an iPlay tractor and loves all the little sounds and figures. So, I thought this might be a good toy in addition to those as his first train (my son is 1). This train is definitely cute. Press on the conductor/farmer once, and get a "choochoo." Press on it twice, and the train plays "Mary Had A Little Lamb." I wish it made animal sounds as the box said it would, but my son is none-the-wiser. He loves to take all the figures out and lower the door housing the tiger. While he can't quite maneuver the train yet, he does love when I do it and he can chase it around on his hands and knees. I can see how for little hands, the train can easily detach one car from another. But it's no big deal at this point. I think overall, it's a cute toy for the money. I think my son will get good use out of it for at least a couple of years.

P.S. I didn't get the train through Amazon. You can definitely find it for half the price.
