I bought this because my daughter loves the Little People series of Flap books.

Her best friend loves them too so I bought each girl one and was so disapointed when they arrived in the mail the other day.

There are no flaps, yet they call it a "flap" book?

There are little cut outs, but nothing interactive like the other ones.

The other two I ordered have flaps, but unfortunately the only one I got 2 of doesnt have the flaps.

We received this as a gift and my 18 month old son LOVES it. He wants to go through it with me constantly. It is not unusual to read it several times each day. The pictures are large and colorful and my son loves looking for the items I name on each page. His vocabulary has increased and his powers of observation have too. It is fun to see just how much he remembers. The book is also made of very high quality materials. I highly recommend this book.

My son LOVES this book...we look at it every night--EVERYNIGHT...This has gone on for months now...it is the first thing he goes for in his toybox...He is only one and he points to the dog, frog, cows when I ask him to find them. This book has really helped with his vocab skills. It is not a flap book, but it is great anyway!

My 3 year old son likes the Little People books and this one has a lot of new and intersting words for him. After I read it to him, he reads it to me. He will make up stories based on the pictures or words that he knows. We really like it.

A wonderful book, a great way to learn English words, since we live in Isreal :)

I needed a book that show the building in a small town. This book was it because it's publish for preschoolers.

Fisher Price Little People Welcome To Our Town Big Flap Book My grandchildren love the "Flap Books" and it's easy to see why. They are colorful, fun, and each page opens up a new world for them. Any book that encourages them to read is a good investment.

At the moment she is 2.5 and likes to take this book aside and read by herself - she is reading many of the words now too.

My 16-month-old son adores this book, and loves to flip through the pages and point out different animals and items. I actually like that the book does not have the 'flaps' that are common in many of the other Little People books, as they are more likely to be torn by busy little hands. This is a great choice for younger toddlers who are starting to work on words and recognition.

My husband and I purchased this book for our 2 year old daughter because she loves Little People toys and dvd's so we figured we should start adding the books to her collection. She is not a big talker and her doctor had expressed concern at her 2 year check up about her not using a lot of words. My daughter and I now look at this book daily and every day she is saying a new word! I can't wait to get the other books!
