This is a beautiful book for toddlers. Fisher Price makes a good quality product and this one has heavy cardboard pages will stand up to little hands who are eager to turn pages. Little flaps hold surprise photos underneath and my 2 year old granddaughter loves looking for the hidden pictures. Good choice for fun reading time.

not a flap book like I have bought in the past. it basically flips the page to see an interior of castle, ship, etc.

I purchased this book for my daughter's 2 year birthday. She loves books to begin with, but really loves this one. And although it's a children's book, there's still enough content to keep my interest. Great book!

I have a two and a half year old daughter whom we started reading the flip-the-flap books with about three months ago. She loves them. The books are interesting for her and more interactive with the flaps, counting, object and animal identification and more! The Fisher Price series of these are particularly well made with stiff cardboard pages and sturdy flaps. For as energetic as she is, the books have suffered no damage. I have purchase eight or nine so far and they are her favorite bedtime reading. They ship quickly and are packed well.

My 21 month old daughter loves this book. We have story time, and this is always one she grabs. There are so many images on each page and I'll ask her to find certain ones. It tests her memory and she is now more familiar with certain animals, objects, etc. that she was not before. There are 4 pages that contain dinosaurs, which is a little too advanced for her so that is my only grumble. However, I am sure she will eventually be drawn to them as she gets older.

Our 3 year old grandson loves the Little People books; we have three now. We wants to ready them every day. The books are sturdy; the characters are adorable, colorful and interesting. Thanks.

My son (22 months) loves this book. It has several different scenes with little people characters in each scene and some of characters are not ones I recognize from his Little People DVD's. However, he loves it anyway and we look through the book and all the things in the book are spelled out...some of the items are a little over his head ie. on the pirate ship they have the bowspirit labeled and the rudder, etc. The different scenes are as follows: Pirate Ship (with a peekthrouh porthole, the circus (with an entrance peekthrough to the next page), a prehistoric cave with a cave peekthrough and lots of dinousaurs named, an old western town with a jail and door peekthrough, and a castle with 2 window peekthroughs. I would recommend this book and I think he will enjoy it even more when my son gets a little older.

I like this book but it is a bit big for little hands. The pages are very sturdy. My daughter likes the look inside windows. There are so many words which is great. Lots of fun adventures.
