5.0 out of 5 stars Good fun for baby October 11, 2011
Length: 1:37 Mins
My son is 17 weeks old; he loves it. The variety of songs, the lights and all the little toys kept him entertained and entertained ME as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Terrific, Well thought out Design January 1, 2011
Ease of Assembly: good instructions. All pieces snap together easily. The only screw you have to deal with is the one over the battery compartment.

Great about it: Somebody put a lot of thought into the music. The piano has four keys, all of which my five month old can reach and hit with her toes easily. They make a major chord which means that baby can't make any painful/discordant notes.
The seat turns easily. She doesn't crawl yet, but she figured out how to twirl the seat within a couple of sessions.
There is a good variety of sounds/toys. Baby does not get bored easily because each toy moves or makes sounds differently. I thought her noises would get annoying, but they are great. The songs it plays are short and catchy.

Not so great: um, the trumpet doesn't make a lot of noise and the snack tray could snap in instead of just sit in there? Really no complaints with this item!

4.0 out of 5 stars My son LOVES this! April 30, 2011
My son who is now almost 7 months old LOVES this entertainer!

He will sit in it for hours if I'd let him :)

The music is catchy, I sometimes catch myself singing along. The rattles on the side of the seat entertain him very well!

The ONLY reason I did not give this 5 starts is because it doesn't have a height adjustment like other "exersaucers" and it doesn't fold down at all for storage or travel to grandmas.

Assembly was a breeze and I would absolutely recommend this product!

3.0 out of 5 stars Poor quality toys. April 14, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase
In just 2 months of use, my 6 month old broke the blue microphone off at the base. It snapped in half. I was very disappointed because that was his favorite item on this toy. The trumpet is also useless. It is difficult for my son to access because it doesn't stay within reach with the long string. It also doesn't make much noise that's even audible. I wish I had purchased another model with more toy attachments with better quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars BEST! May 29, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase
My son is 6 months old...I had bought the Fisher Price Annimal Crackers jumperoo and he did not like it. So I thought he would love this because he likes music and likes to kick his feet. I was right! He absolutely adores his Step N' Play Piano! He can play for long periods of time in this thing and he does not get bored at all. Both sides are interesting for him and he turns and slides from side to side. Contrary to what others are saying, the music is not annoying when the baby is stepping on the keyboard so don't worry about that. I would definately reccommend to all parents!

5.0 out of 5 stars last a long time December 10, 2011
By momx3
we got this as our 3rd stationary entertainer when the kids were between 6-9 months old. The toys on here were not as impressive & feels very empty when you look at it. But by the time they started walking, they started to be more interested in this one. They loved the buttons on the top that played music, even now at almost 2 y/o, we got rid off all other entertainers except this one. They use this as a bridge to push cars/carts over & sometime as dance floor. with the 3 kids playing with it everyday, it still looks like new, everything still works.

4.0 out of 5 stars SO excited they still make this!!! June 27, 2011
By SB
I bought one of these 8 years ago when they first came out for my oldest son. He absolutely loved it. He would sit in it for hours walking back and forth on the keys and playing with all the toys attached. Back then the bottom keys were only black and white, but everything else is identical. We now have a new baby and I wanted something similar for him. I though they had stopped making the Step and Play, but typed it in to see if there was something similar. I was surprised when this came up! I will definitely be ordering this again.
The only down side is that it is big and bulky and can't be folded and the snack tray does come out (it really should snap in), but I never gave my son snacks in it. He liked to pull the tray out and wave it around. I knew if I put any snacks in it I'd be cleaning them up. Or rather my dogs would. Other than that, it's wonderful.

4.0 out of 5 stars My son went nuts as soon as I sat him in it! March 27, 2012

First, the only reason I rated it 4 stars is because there is a few very minor things that I notice that *could* be different.

Cons:
-It doesn't break down for easy travel
-The seat is a little thin, could use more padding but (in my opinion) if they're big enough to sit up in it, it's not really needed
-The trumpet toy is connected to the side by a short string, my son gets frustrated that he can pic it up but not get it to his mouth
-The on/off and volume switches are within babies reach and once discovered can be easily shut on/off

Just some FYIs that might be helpful in deciding whether or not to purchase:

-Keys on floor of toy play on keyboard on the top when stepped on. So baby's stomping/walking shows in front of them (super cool)
-Plenty of interactive toys within reasonable reach for baby. Really encourages movement.
-Assembly is a BREEZE, everything snaps together, I didn't look at the instructions once.
-The mirror doesn't suck, it's not super distorted like most mirrors on infant toys
-Comes with automatic bragging right :P Got lots of compliments on it

I've posted a pic with this review
