Recently we had excavation in our yard and my 3 year old son became obsessed with "scoop trucks". This toy is perfect for him. It is chuncky and durable -- a requirement for little boys. It has an accompaning shovel so he can dig the dirt and fill the "scoop". This truck even has a release to drop all the items it has collected. The only problem with the toy is the lever that lowers and raises the scoop -- it tends to get stuck and hard to move. Other than that, it is perfect for the truck lover.

Just bought this toy yesterday, and couldn't get my 3 year old son away from it. He loves being able to dump stuff from the tractor bucket with the use of a lever! The handles are big and sturdy. Highly recommended!

Not only does my 2 year old son absolutely love this truck - but I love it too because it doesn't require batteries. Since he received it for his 2nd birthday, he's test fit just about everything into the bucket to see if he can "dump it" - rocks, small boxes of food, canned goods, toy trains and cars. It's been tons of fun for him so far and I'm sure will be for a lot longer. The cool truck noises are great when the wheels turn!

First of all, list price for this toy is about thirty, though it's sometimes more expensive here. This toy has lasted through three kids, being outside and inside, being sat on and lugged to the park and everything. It works perfectly with the Fisher-Price Little People Rumblin Rocks Dump Truck. It makes a soft rumbling sound with no batteries that is fun for kids without being annoying for adults. It's the best front loader for kids.

Not even John Deere has such a great front loader with such a big scoop. I love John Deere's Dump Truck, but I have to go with Fisher Price for the Front Loader. If you are looking for the perfect gift for a 3 year old, this is what you should get them. Worth the money. It's big and easy to use. Plastic so you don't have to worry about kids banging their head against it. It picks up the load (wooden blocks, is what my son likes to use) and doesn't release them until the kid pushes a lever forward. Love it...love it. Worth every penny, bc of it's durability and hours of fun.

This toy is great in the sand and in the dirt. Though it will never replace his Tonka dump truck, it is an important part of my three year old construction site in the sandbox.

My 3 year old son got both the Front Loader & the Dump Truck & they are both great. We too have a lot of construction going on in our neighborhood & of course it peeked our sons interest. The great thing about these trucks is the rumbling noises they make when they are rolled along & the construction worker figures they come with. My son just loves them. He makes them talk & take lunch breaks together. Time will tell how well they weather being outside all the time, but so far, so good!!!!
