We got this doll for my daughters 3rd birthday on Saturday, 4/30/11.By that following Monday, Dora's hair was pitiful! People commented that the doll looked like a "old, much loved" toy. Definitely not old, but it is much loved. For the price, I guess I can't complain. Nothing is made well these day!

Lots of accessories. The girls enjoyed playing with it and it is much cheaper on amazon. There is no educational value to speak of, but it's a doll so maybe some social skills?

Got this for my 4 year old for Christmas. She loved making the outfits and Dora's hair change colors. But after 6 months, the colors no longer changed. She still plays with the doll sometimes though. Just know that the color changing won't last long.
