We purchased our son this train set to replace the fold and go train that broke recently. Our son is autistic and he was heartbroken when his old train broke. When I couldn't find his old one in stock anywhere near our home, I decided to splurge a little on this set since he started showing an interest in Mickey Mouse.
I brought it home and was pleasantly surprised to find out that there was no assembly required. I just needed to install 4 AA batteries (which are not included) with a phillips head screw driver. I took the train and tracks right out of the box and it was ready to go!
I like that the tracks are easy to snap together but not so easy that they fall apart as soon as the train goes over them.
The train itself is the perfect size for my son's hands. I like that it is a little big. It is so darn cute!! It plays music and Mickey talks and sings which encourages my autistic son to mimic him (which is a plus!).
The train does come off the track sometimes but my son can easily put it back on himself.
The train will run on the floor without the track but can run straight into a wall and will not turn around.
The little green cart is a nuisance and will not stay attached to the train.
All in all, this train works wonderfully and is too cute to pass up!

This train was great fun for my nephews. I bought it as a birthday present for my nephew that was turning 5 years old. At first I was a little worried that it might be too young for him...maybe this toy was better for his 3 year old brother? No! He loved it! So did his older brother! I think boys love trains no matter how old they are. They really had fun changing the tracks a round,and loved watching it lay the two tracks down and keep going. It was great watching them enjoy it so much! Especially since this toy cost a bit more than I actually wanted to pay for a plastic train. ;D

I really like this toy, but what's more important, my grandson loves this toy. He is only 22 months old but, he likes choo-choo trains and after his first visit to Disney World recently, he also likes Mickey Mouse. He played with this toy every day while he was here visiting and that is the best review a toy can receive. Choo Choo Train
Our grandsons aged 2 and 3 love this train. It is easy to assemble, very colorful and they love Mickey's voice and the music and we were lucky to find it for a much lower price!

doesn't live up to expectations for the price
The treain runes fine on harwdwood floor by itself or in track laying mode, but will not run on the track.
