Yeah - the doors come off. I think I see that as a benefit! The tent on the top and the lid flop off, as well. For my eight year old a few years ago, and my three year old now, and my one year old upcoming, this toy has SURVIVED! I know that when my somewhat rough little girls play with it, they blow the doors off, but when I find them, they snap right back on again. It's not educational, but it's awful fun!

I bought this for my daughter over a year ago. She had fun with the van but the doors constantly fell off. I got tired of putting them back on and she got tired of asking. She still has fun playing with the doorless van.

This is a fantastic toy for both boys and girls. Our son loves it and carries it around everywhere he goes. However, I can't believe Black Sheep is trying to sell it for $70! Plus shipping! Retail is between $19.99 ans $29.99. This is a clear case of price gouging. Many , if not all of the items this merchant offers are OVERpriced similarly. Amazon should ban this merchant on principle alone.
