4.0 out of 5 stars Cute but I see it getting old really quick.
My little one HAD to have tickle hands for her 3rd birthday. She seems to like them well enough but as with many toys I don't see this one having much staying power. It comes with a dvd that has Elmo singing his little song and a dance to go with the tickle hands but she loves going tickle everyone in the room with them. This is a cute musical toy, but would be nicer if BOTH hands (gloves) "tickeled". The description does tell you that only one hand sings and tickles, but it is still kind of strange to have one that does nothing at all. My 19 month old will probably ignore the non-active hand, unless one of us uses it with him while he is playing with the active one. Maybe older tots,...

One hand is just cloth while the other has the box in it where the music comes from. Don't get accidently hit with the one with the music box in it...it'll hurt. Also the dog might not be so happy with the tickle hands (same goes for the cat). So if your child has heavy hands...I'd look for a different toy.

Maybe older tots, who watch Elmo, will put on both gloves and dance with the musical DVD included.

I know this looks cute, but it's worth at most 15 minutes of fun. Definitely not worth the money.

I bought this product thinking that both of the hands move but only one hand wiggles and plays the music.
I wasn't to happy so I returned the product.

My daughter loves to be tickled with these... but the problem is my hands are too big... but they are still realllyyy fun! Overall I probably wouldn't recommend seeing how they haven't gotten too much play since we've had them!

UPDATE!--- Now that she is 3 she really loves them... She walks around and does the tickle me dance.. waving them all around and its freaking adorable!!!

I bought the toy for my Grandson..........He wouldn't put it down and just played with practically the entire time he was at my house. I had to give him his other gifts and hold the hands until he opened his other gifts, than he went back to the hands again. A couple of weeks later I visited him and he was still playing with them on a regular basis so the newness apparently didn't wear off.

the one hand is kinda fun, but the other is just a glove so my son only liked to play with the one that viberated. also it just wasn't that fun for him and he likes to tickle.

I bought this as a birthday present for my one year old son, who adores Elmo. I mean adores to the point that one of his first words along with "da da" and "mama" was "Elmo!".
At first when he heard Elmo singing, he thought they were cool, and he carried around the box. It was when we opened the box, and Elmos hands were coming at him that he started crying. Something about the tickle hands just scared him. He is now about to be 14 months old, and is starting to play with the tickle hands with his older brother and sister, but the original feeling I got from him was that he was scared of them.
They are a very durable toy, and the song is actually kind of cute and the kids like to dance to it.
