My daughter received this toy when she was about 19-20 months old and now at 3 1/2 she still plays with it from time to time. Now to give the toy credit, she played with it A LOT for about the first 6 months she had it. Elmo and Abby are the perfect size for little hands and she would carry them around everywhere. I now have a son who is 14 months, so the toy is making another round in our house. The Elmo head, as we have dubbed it, has been put thru the toddler stress test (dropped, thrown, etc) and we have had no issues, it looks brand new. The little handle popped off once, but it was easy to push back in. Surprisingly enough, after 2 yrs and 2-3 moves we still have all the pieces. The only complaint (it is a small one) I have is that the head is a bit hard to open for little ones so be prepared to be handed the head by your toddler for some assistance...often. The price on Amazon (currently $40) is excessively high; I think my MIL got this at Target for about $15 so I recommend shopping around.

While I think this set is a bit expensive for what you get, my kids (1 and 3 YO) just love it. Comes with 2 cute figures and some play furniture which can be stored in the plastic case. The case itself is small, but convenient for taking it along in the car, to gramma's house, etc.

My almost three year-old daughter loves this set. We take it along with us when we go out to eat so that she has something to keep her entertained during the wait. There is enough room in the little case to add a few more figures if you have some at home. The figures it comes with are a firmer rubber than most PVC figures and the Elmo is much more "cartoonish" than some, but still durable and easy to wipe clean. We like that several elements from "Elmo's World" are built into the playscape such as Dorothy and Elmo's computer. A very cute toy that I think most toddlers would enjoy.

Our 21 month old daughter really loves Elmo, and this is a great toy for her to take along with her. She loves that it also has a little Abby Cadabby, and pictures of other Sesame Street characters. It allows her to use her imagination - as there is a wagon to pull Elmo and Abby in, a painting easel for coloring, a desk with computer, etc. It's not a fancy toy, and doesn't have any sounds, but that makes it nicer for mom and dad on the go! And it's very cute that it all stores inside an Elmo shaped carrier.

LOVE IT. FUN FOR MY TODDLER AND EASY CLEAN UP. EASY TO CARRY AND GREAT FOR THE IMAGINATION. TRY GETTING IT WITH THE COOKIE MONSTER SET ALSO.

I gave this to my 22 month old for Christmas. She loves it. She brings Elmo and Abby with her everywhere.

Those little cabinets if detachable will be more enjoyable.
Its not clearly visible for cutomers the ideal age for this toy, I bought it for my 5yr old daughter coz I did not pay attention on the box, what caught my eyes is the girl holding it.Over all its ok
