We recieved this "bike" as a gift when my son was 16 months old. He immediately took to it but was yet too young to steer or switch the bike from forward motion to reverse and vice versa. He was able to operate the footpedal, which I like vs a handle bar accelerator. It is well built and the batteries stay charge for a long time. He is now 2 1/2 and still love it, especially since he can steer and change the motion of the bike.
Its a got a low center of gravity and very wide rear wheel base so its very stable. Very handsome looking bike. I like that it goes a bit slower then other ride-ons so its safer for kids in the 18m- 32 mth age bracket, which is what this bike is good for. My only complaint is the plastic wheels, they have very little traction on concrete or grass. Otherwise, its a great toy all around, we liked it so much we bought one for our godchild.
