4.0 out of 5 stars Great Toy! Keeps Little Guy Busy!
My 17 month old son is such a busy little guy. He is at the age now where he wants to push and pull EVERYTHING!!! His Grandma's bought him this wagon so that he would have something to pull besides the cooler! When they first got it, he played with it for hours! When pulled, it plays music, or when putting blocks in the different slots, it plays music. The music is nice...

1.0 out of 5 stars I don't recommend this toy!!!
My daughter got this toy for her first birthday. She has pinched her fingers numerous times on the wheel. If you don't want your kids to get hurt while playing, don't purchase this toy! It was not worth the money!!

His Grandma's bought him this wagon so that he would have something to pull besides the cooler! When they first got it, he played with it for hours! When pulled, it plays music, or when putting blocks in the different slots, it plays music. The music is nice and not too annoying as many other toys are. And there's a volume control button on there as well as an off switch. The handle goes underneath the wagon if not being used to pull. It will keep your little one busy for hours.

4.0 out of 5 stars warning - 2 of the blocks may be unsafe, October 4, 2003

2 of the 8 blocks have a reflective surface that is simply a sticker on the outside of the block.

My 6 month old daughter has 4 teeth and she managed to scrape off and chew part of the optical reflecter sticker on one of the blocks within about 5 minutes. I'm not sure what the reflective surface is made from but it cannot be good to ingest.

Otherwise, she really quite enjoys the toy and will play with it for several minutes (a long time for her).

My son plays with this more than any of his other toys. The blocks are great, since they are all different. He likes to try to sit in the wagon, he thinks it's very funny. The only complaint I have is that the sounds come on any time you touch the thing even slightly, and it's pretty loud.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Addition to our Blocks, October 31, 2003

My daughter already had a set of these block that she loved, so we got the wagon for her first birthday. It comes with set of blocks and both sets fit comfortably in the wagon. The blocks can be put through the wheel and various other spots which will cause the wagon to light up. Some of the blocks make noise and having moving parts on the inside. I often catch my daughter shaking the blocks to hear the different noises and to see the pieces move. She hasn't got her fingers caught as other reviewers noted but she has flipped the whole wagon. She doesn't walk yet but pushes up on the wagon to stand. She also pushes and pulls it to her when she's sitting. She'll soon be walking and I believe this toy is helping her gain the confidence enough to stand on her own. She plays with this every day and doesn't seem to tire of it. The blocks she plays with everywhere. They're a favorite when she's in her high chair. My only advice is to turn it off when not in use. The slightest movement sometimes causes the wagon to sound and I once woke my daughter up.

3.0 out of 5 stars Comme Ci Comme Ca, December 7, 2003

The minute I saw this toy on television I just knew I had to have it for my daughter. She could pull it around, spin blocks in the wheel, put them on the teeter totter, sort them, and even stack them. Plus, the blocks were toys in themselves. What more could a child want right? Wrong. Actually it was more like, what more could a *parent* want.

After recveving this toy for her first birthday, my daughter played with it for all of three days. She doesn't pull it around but she loves to turn the wheel and here the whimsical noises the teeter totter makes.

What we don't like about it is that the yellow door is constantly coming off. I put it on, she takes it right back off. Great. I also think the toy makes a little too much noise. Instead of just a jingle or a couple of notes as a reward for an action, this toy goes crazy the minute you touch it. I don't like that. To me it's like it's playing with itself and doesn't really give my toddler the incentive to do much when all we have to do is walk past it for it to go to town with it's loud music.

All in all, I would say this is an okay toy. Not absolutely horrible but nothing to write home to mom about either. I would have expected more from Fisher Price.

We have several items from the peek-a-blocks line of toys and have loved them all. The wagon was the most recent addition and my 8-month old can not get enough of it. She loves the lights and music and has gotten a grasp on cause and effect - she has learned what to do to get what she wants from the wagon. I especially like that this is a toy that continues to grow with her. A great buy!

This is a great toy in theory, however not only have I slammed my fingers in the turning wheel, but so has my son, daughter, husband, and brother. It hurts too! I really think this toy should be recalled. It's not fun to see your babies cry when they get hurt from a senseless design on a child's toy.

WOW! I was SO surprised to read these reviews mentioning the wheel and pinched fingers. My son (15 months old) has been playing with this toy for three months with no problems. He puts not only blocks in the wheel, but pacifiers, balls, half-eaten sandwiches, you name it!! If it's small enough to fit, around the wheel it goes! He really loves it. The wagon has so many activities that it manages to keep his attention for quite a while. He even clears the wagon out every once in a while and sits in it with his legs dangling over the back. And the poor wagon has taken all the abuse like a champ! We've bought extra Peek-a-Blocks, and now he stacks, sorts, spins, and slides all over the place. Based on our experiences, we recommend the wagon.

My husband and I bought this toy for our daughters first birthday and now regret it. She has gotten her fingers SMASHED in the wheel and pinched in the yellow flippy lid. She actually had a little blister from getting pinched. I finally had to take the yellow lid off and see if that helped, but she just got them smashed in the wheel. So I had to take it away. I called Fisher Price and let them know about the problem, they are sending UPS out to our house pick it up and are sending me a refund.

It'a great toy, the company just obviosly didn't do enough research before putting it on the shelf.
