My 10 week old son loves this swing! We have another "front to back" motion swing that he refuses to sit in, but he loves the motion of this one and will site quietly in it for long periods and sleeps very well in it. He also likes to stare at the mirrored ball, but he's not too interested in the mobile yet, maybe because the animals don't have much color contrast? It was super easy to put together, and I love that it can fold up to put out of the way - it's not exactly small folded, but my other swing doesn't fold at all. The sounds are kind of nice, I don't really like the music so we pretty much just use the nature sounds or none at all, which is fine. I only wish that it could plug in instead of just using batteries, like the rainforest swing does - but the seat on this one is bigger and softer than the rainforest, and my son likes the papsan better (our neighbors have the rainforest swing so we've tried them both). Overall I completely reccomend this swing, but giving 4 stars b/c of the mobile and the power situation.

Note that all the reviews for the various types (nature's touch, new nature's touch, starlight, etc.,) are all grouped together. We got the New Nature's Touch, thinking all the models use AC Power, (b/c the reviews say so) but they do not! The New Nature's Touch is definitely batteries only. I'm giving it 5 stars b/c for what it is, it is great. But I give Amazon 0 stars for misleading its customers this way.

I bought this for our grandson, who is 10 weeks old. I am able to put him in the swing still awake, sometimes a little fussy, and he will go to sleep every time. This is a good buy for a Grandma who prefers holding or carrying their grandbaby ALL the time and never wanting to put them down; it's second best to Grandma's arms!
Holden loves the music, too, and is already curious seeing his little reflection above him.
So glad I bought this, and the price was the lowest I had seen.
