My daughter got this toy as a gift when she was 71/2 months old. She wasn't crawling at the time, but in a matter of days, she was following Pooh all over the place! I'm convinced that Pooh gave her the courage to do it. She figured out how to make him go pretty quickly and has had so much fun playing with him. It's a riot to watch her scream and giggle at him.
Now she is 11 months old and walking and running all over the place but still stops to play with Pooh. He's proven to be developmentally helpful, durable and lots of fun! I have no complaints with this toy--a rarity!

I bought this for my son when he was about 4 months old. He started reaching out and pulling it buy it's ears and pushing on Pooh's butt to make him crawl. He would giggle and enjoy it. My son is now starting to crawl and gets very serious when I turn on Crawling Pooh and he watches and tries to imitate Pooh's movements.

Toy Sounds Like A Car Wreck!,

I recently purchased the Magic Touch N' Crawl Pooh as a Christmas gift for my best friend's 7 month old little boy. I was so excited to read the rave reviews (with only one mentioning a mechanical sound). To my dismay and disappointment when Pooh arrived and was started, he sounded like a car wreck was occuring every time he turned his head! I was extremely disappointed and promptly returned him. (I must note that Amazon.com does make returning a purchase extremely easy.) Please be aware of this terrible sound that is much louder than the music that plays when considering purchasing this product!

Baby prefers Eeyore, but you'll prefer Pooh,

My daughter received this toy and the Eeyore version for Easter. She was about 9 months old. She likes them both but plays with Eeyore a lot more. She loves to drag him around by the tail. The music and voice on Pooh are much more tolerable than Eeyore.

My daughter had already begun to crawl when she got Pooh as a gift. She was quickly amazed at the fact Pooh talked and moved his head. She has given Pooh his share of hugs and ear tugs. Has withstood all the abuse from my daughter, and my dog. She is almost walking now and still loves her Pooh.

Scares my Daughter,

My daughter received thsi toy as a gift when she was 1 month old. She is now 7 1/2 months old. She loves it unless we turn it on. It has a fairly loud mechanical noise when the head turns and then it speaks and plays music and crawls which makes her cry every time.. My daughter is timid so if you have a timid little one this is not the toy for them.. But if you little one is more like my first child... outgoing and boisterous then i am sure this would be a great toy.

My daughter got this toy at 6 months & she squealed with delight every time I made it crawl. It took her a long time to really play with it but now that she's 9 months old she slaps it on the butt and crawls beside it gabbering away at it. She picks it up to see it's legs moving & huggs on it. She loves it and is constantly beating up on it to make it play music. It's very durable. She sometimes makes it play & sits back to bob to the music.

I bought this product based on all the positive reviews. However, I feel that the "Pooh" voice and music is too loud. It makes me a little nervous to have some of the "electronic/musical" toys so close to my baby's ears. I wish it had a volume control. Aside from the loudness though, it is a cute toy and looks like it is fun to play with.

great for getting babies to crawl,
By MommyofTwins (Wisconsin) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Fisher-Price Pooh Babies Magic Touch 'n Crawl (Toy)
We started using this pooh when the twins were learning to roll. And now at 6 months they are crawling around trying to catch pooh. They both seemed very intrested in this pooh and i think it actualy gave them the get up and go to follow pooh across the room. This is a great toy that i think any new little one would enjoy. The motor does seem a little loud. But my son and daugther didnt seem to mind and neither did we. We usualy have all sorts of other sounds going on so it blocks it out!
