I purchased this for my 21 mos old daughter at Target for $16.00 which seems to be the average retail price, so please don't be fooled into purchasing this product for TWICE THE RETAIL PRICE!!! Seriously, I don't know how this can be allowed on Amazon at such an alarming rate, but it has made me stop shopping on this site altogether recently. AMAZON, PLEASE HELP YOUR CONSUMER AND STOP RAMPANT DISPROPORTIONATE PRICING!!!!

I had gotten this for my daughter's 3rd birthday. She loves it. The shape stamps are magnetized so they stay with the unit and the pen is attached with a cord of a decent length. I would definatly say it's a great idea for kids over 18 months without the stamps, with the stamps after 2 yrs old. She has had a smaller travel version for a year now and has used this one non stop since we got it a few days ago.

My son started to play with the doodle at a friends house (he was addicted to it). I went and bought one the same day (much cheaper at Toy"R"Us) and he was playing with it the whole morning. Highly recommend it! Worth every dollar! I even got into it.
