Fisher-Price Puppy Grows and Knows Your Name White

My Daughter had to have this for Christmas this year, She is 7 years old, and loves this puppy, How ever she does not play with it as much as I thought she would, Once the puppy grew to full size, That was it for her, You can however reset the dog so it can grow all over again, The down fall though is once you reset it, you have to re program it all over again with the childs name and so foruth, I think it's a great gift for the price I bought it for 17.99, But there is no way I would pay over 20.00 for this dog, it just doesnt do enough!

It even had my neice's name Arianna, but used Ariana because it was pronouced better.

Only thing to note: DOES NOT COME WITH USB CABLE. Does not fit with new smaller one needed older Printer one, that fit. Other than that this is great already got it ready for Her for xmas!!

The only issue with this toy is you need a USB to USA cable, which isn't really one you usually have handy on the shelf. Not really clear in the description. Also, it will say your child's name and its name if it is in the list of names it knows. My child picked out "Puddles" which isn't on the list.

This is the cutest puppy I've seen in a long time. It really was a good choice for my Granddaughter who is special needs. The order was placed and came within just a few days. This would be a good gift for anyone. I'm a grandmother and I love it! I was also surprised at the size. It's the size of a small poodle. Can not go wrong with this item. I can't say that its really educational, but it sure is fun!

my daughter had to have this for christmas last year. she loves it for a few weeks until it was all grown up. then she lost interest. It is cute how you can program it to say your childs name. and it does actually grow each day.

This is a great toy and your child will be delighted that the puppy knows his or her name. We had a BIG problem downloading the child's name and puppy's name. We continued to receive an error message regarding MSVCR80.dll. We finally found that the solution is to remove "Windows Defender" (use "add/remove programs" on your computer's control panel)then try downloading again. Fisher-Price CSR was very nice but did not have a solution - we had to Google it until we found a suggestion.

It took a while to program the dog to say our daughter's name. It took some research to successfully install the updates and it appears that many people have the same issues. Anyway, my husband did all the work in programming it. Once it was personalized we had fun playing with it until it broke. It doesn't get past the "I'm so happy to see you" phrase. Also, I've noticed it takes a week for it to grow full size for some reason, not the four days as indicated. I'm glad I only paid half price for it, otherwise I would have returned it.

My niece confided in me that she wanted a puppy (her parents told here she couldn't have one yet) so I got her this in hopes it would compensate. I was told she loved it!

My 6 1/2 year old daughter received this for Christmas. She likes it and plays with it occasionally, but not as much as I had hoped. It's super easy to use the CD that comes with it to name the dog and provide your child's name for the dog to speak. There are no games on the CD, it is simply for naming purposes. The dog grows over a four day period, then shrinks back down again. It also asks to be fed, brushed and measured, and says your child's name frequently. The dog is very heavy though, so younger kids will have some difficulty carrying it around. I would recommend this for a 4-6 year old. It's pretty cool.

This is an adorable little puppy if your child loves pets. They say it would grow a little each day but it only 'grew' once and nothing else happened. It also moves his head. Not cuddly. Feels hard and rather heavy for a toy. But the fun fact remained unchanged. The kids loved it and wasn't disappointed that it didn't grow each day.
Overall worth it if you buy it on sale! Certainly not worth $60.
