Product Description

From the Manufacturer

The magic of Thomas and Friends comes to life with remote control action. The TrackMaster remote lets little engineers control Victor's' every move. A push or pull on the handle sends the engine forward or backward with a chug-chug or stops them with a hiss. Other buttons let children hear engine whistles and the Thomas and Friends theme song too.

This one wheels locks up so you can't push it around.

The remote functions work great - the train stops, moves forward, backward according to the handle's position on the remote.

If you let your children have at it, it will break, but that's not how this toy should be used.

I bought this Victor RC train along with a Percy RC train for my son's 4th birthday. It worked great - even faster than the Percy train - for about 8 hours and then inexplicably stopped working. Great!

My son has several toys from the Thomas Trackmaster set and we added this to his collection at Christmas. We have a similar one 'James' that he loves to play with and figured it would be good to have 2 RC trains to have his friends play with when they come over. We opened the box, put fresh batteries in, and were ready to go...the only problem was nothing went. The remote seemed to work, but Victor did not respond to and command. I tried several troubleshooting steps to no luck. I emailed Amazon, who stood by the product and helped us out. I appreciate the great customer service Amazon has, which helps the sting of the toy not working, but nothing will replace how disappointed my son has that the train did not work.

My 3 year old son has autism. He often looks for things to visually stimulate himself. I purchased the Tidsmuth Station set with four additional trains and he loves it. We spend much time together watching and learning colors, names, use of remote controls, and many other things. This is a great toy. The Tidsmuth stations has been bashed for breaking easily, but ours seems to be fine. If you let your children have at it, it will break, but that's not how this toy should be used. Spend time with your kids and this is an excellent experience.

The remote functions work great - the train stops, moves forward, backward according to the handle's position on the remote. The only features I could no stand was the constant and loud noise that the unit made - from the train sounds to the songs, it was too much. I took a small screwdriver to break the surface of the speaker on the remote and now the toy functions silently. It seems to be less annoying to our child too this way.

My som loves this train. Not only because he has the same name as he does (thats one of the reasons we bought it) , but it is easy to work the remote control and gives playing with trains a little extra.
Nice sound effects too.
