Fisher-Price Rainforest Shake n' Chime Ball

I bought this for my toy chest for for grandchildren. I was looking for the original chime ball to create a collection of toys my grandchildren's parents played with. I was unhappy with the condition of the old ones,and settled for this one. I love the rainforest these,and am happy with the toy, as is the baby. The only drawback is that the original ball with the rocking horses was much more interesting because it would roll all the way over. The leaves on this ball prevent it from getting away. The sound is awesome.

This is a great toy for younger babies. Our little guy was 9 months old when he received it and was only interested for about 10 minutes. I think he would have got much more use out of this when he was starting to sit up and just learning how to crawl.

Keeps him interested for a little bit because of the animals and the noise it makes but I might go for something with more action.

I purchased this for my 3 year old because it doesn't play music or light up. It's a very simple toy that makes a chiming noise when my baby kicks it with his feet--definitely encourages his kicking. Sometimes the simplest toys with very simple cause and effect are the best. This one is great.

Very cute and colorful toy but very boring. My baby was never interested in playing with this toy. I wish I got her something else.

This is better for very young babies who are just learning to sit up and crawl. It won't intreague older ones because it doesn't roll. It only rocks back and forth, and you can spin it as well. That being said, it's adorable and has great animals and colors.

Got this for my 9 m.o. son for Christmas, and I was disappointed. He didn't play with it for a whole minute. I love the rainforest collection, and this is really cute and colorful but boring. It doesn't tilt in any direction very much, the sound is somewhat muted, and that is all it really does. It is almost too big to shake, as the title suggests, and there is really nothing else to do with it. Maybe it would be enjoyable for a young baby (4 months or so?), but I have 3 boys and none of them would have found much interest in this at any age.

This is a cute toy I'd ordered to go with the collection of other FP Rainforest items I have for my baby. I guess its ok, the colors are bright, it makes a cute jingle sound, and the quality is good...it just seems a little boring. We'll see after she's born & grows up a bit if it holds her interest for more than a couple minutes.

We bought this on sale and I am so glad we did. Honestly, there's not too much to it, but my 5mo loves it! Between the colored leaves, tags at the top and chimes, he keeps batting it around. Great buy for the price.

I love the rainforest line it's so cute, I just got this for my 9-month old and she loves it!
