Cliff Hanger is not your typical toy - The Rescue Heroes are such a great line of creative play action figures. We've been doing our best to avoid gun-weilding figures and love the positive role models of the Rescue Heroes. Cliff's endearing underbite and ability to save even his co-heroes make him very appealing. Adults and children alike are drawn to my son's collection. Even my grandmother had to push Cliff's button and make his wings fly out! Overall, I'm very pleased with Fisher Price's Rescue Heroes and Cliff Hanger is one of the more creative. Heroes needn't always be police or firemen/women! :)

Cliff is one of my sons favorite toys.He loves flying through the house to swoop down and rescue people just in the nick of time. these toys have kids using their imagination, and being creative with them. They provide positive roll play rather than violence. They show kids that anything is possible when you work for it.

I've got 3 kids ages 6 1/2, 4 1/2, and 18mos. All 3 of them love Rescue Heroes. We have just about everyone available, except the Voice Tech ones. We started our collection before the Voice Tech ones came out.My then 3 yr old decided he didn't want one of those because"... We like making them talk on our own!" I can't tell you how many missions have be launched in our play room. I've recommended this to so many people who's kids have loved them. The only arguemnt I get is "They need more girl Heroes" (They currently only have 2:Wendy Waters and Ariel Flyer) You can't go wrong with Rescue Heroes!

I am a big fan of the rescue heroes. They are some of the best designed toys I have ever seen, and they are fabulous for imaginative play and teaching lessons about everything from core values of discipline and sacrifice to practical safety like stop, drop, and roll. Cliff Hanger is a particularly nice addition to the collection. First of all, Cliff is uniquely able to "rescue" because he can fly in and grab someone or something with his big clamp and pull them out. In every story that my son makes up, Cliff become integral to the solution to the problem. Cliff's glider pack is also very cool. The wings collapse and then pop open at the push of a button. Last, because Cliff uses a glider, I am able to introduce some physics to my son. Of course, I don't call it that, but we talk about how an airplane can fly versus a glider which "falls with style." (A reference my son has particular appreciation for.)

Rescue Heroes are the best toys on the market. Three of my boys (8 year old & 7 year old twins, I also provide child care) have been playing with them for 3 years and they are still in great shape, none of them have broken yet. Our Tonka toys were distroyed in 1 year but our Rescue Heroes are still going strong. We have a huge collection including the Command Center, truck, motorcycle, boat, cliff hanger and several "Heroes". We are now having trouble keeping our 8 month old daughter from playing with them. I would recomend them for boys and girls. Hats off to Fisher-Price for such a wounderful toy!!

My son received this for his 4th birthday. He loves this hero but finds the backpack more difficult to put on than most. Also we are more cautious with this hero when 2 yr. old sister is around. The wings just can't stand the abuse.

We have had alot of fun with the rescue hereos collection. My son is four and still plays with them. I love the durability of these action figures. You don't have to worry about losing small pieces or the arm breaking off. A plus with a rough and tumble little boy.

Ihonestly think as a parent that these rescue heroes that they came out with are a dream toy in my sons eyes!My son is only 4 years old and for xmas santa had brought him every rescue hero there was on the shelf!Plus the rescue hero plane the rescue hero tower! To me they have done alot for him cause in his eyes he used to love the power rangers and he got to the point wherehe would try to jumpand kick like the power rangers did cause that was neat to him so we decided to change his whole outlook on these toys and we got him rescue heroes and there not too small so he can't swallow pieces and he never loses their backpack thingys cause there big enough not to lose and he knows whchh backpack is for each one.He even corrects me sometimes if I am putting them away he'll tell me no momm you have it wrong this is this guys backpack! And for a 4 year old that is impressive especially that there not ugly looking toys and not mean and jumping around all tough trying to blow things up thats why there RESCUE HEROES!
