Product Description

From ToyTips.com

The rescue heroes finally have a place to dispatch and plan their rescue operations. The command center is a tri-level headquarters complete with emergency warning sounds and lights, places to dock and fix the rescue vehicles, a heli-pad on the top level and a slide pole and ladder. Kids can also record and playback their own rescue message to help put themselves directly in the action, helping them plan and take control of the play action. The command center encourages pre-schoolers to think and learn while they are planning rescue operations. Furthermore, it can be helpful in problem solving as children must map out rescue plans. It can also be useful for teaching children to cooperate with their friends when rescues are necessary and the important of listening skills.

My 5 year old son asked for this toy last Christmas. Well, it's September and it's still his favorite toy. His younger siblings, especially his brothers, also love this one. Even the 9 month old plays with it! It's extremely sturdy . In fact, toys almost never last this long in our house - and it's gotten tons of play time and it's actually still in perfect condition - unheard of here!
The Rescue Heroes action figures each have something to do with the tower. Their packs attach to the tower for storage and the whole ensemble is really cute and lots of fun.
This is a great price for a toy of this high quality. I've never been happier with the purchase of a toy before. My son still requests the figures - he has earned some and gotten some for his birthday, and this Christmas he wants more.
I highly recommend this toy.

My son is always on the go. He has had the Rescue Hero Figures since he was two and had played with them for hours! He received the Command Center for this third birthday and plays with it every day! With so much technology today I love to listen to his postive, creative play. I will hear him playing "Calling all Rescue Heroes" "Rescue Heroes save the day" It is so nice to see a postive role play with so much violence going on around us. Although it does need some room to be able to access all sides, it has withstood hard play. Among other things, it's been knocked over in a storm, flooded by a volcano and caught on fire and still stands! Even my six year old daughter and her friends will ask to play with him! All the kids love the recordable message feature. Ours is never the same from day to day! I would recommend this center and all Rescue Heroes acessories to anyone promoting creative play!

I have two yong boys and they absolutely love this control tower. Even my six year old returns to play with it often. I have a very active household...lots of playmates...they ALL swarm over this entire line of toys. They have dragged it, sat on it, rolled on it...it is built for little ones. I like the positive play that this entire line promotes. The playback voice button is a lot of fun. This toy seems indestructible. The action heroes and accesories are fabulous!

My son turned four yesterday and this was his favorite gift. He also received a few "guys" and the airplane, which are all excellent. He loves the buttons that make noise and the built in tape recorder that plays back any message that he chooses. So far it has been a lot of growling noises. ( I think that he is too excited to be that thoughtful yet) He also loves the "elevator" pole that takes the heros up and then spins them down quickly. My 12 year old son remarked how frustrated he had been as a little guy with Ninja Turtles, because he could never get them to stand up. These figures have big feet they are easy to stand up. My six year old daughter, was happy to play with the heros too. She liked Wendy Waters, the talking firefighter.

My 3 year old first received Sandy Beach and Billy Blazes from friends at Christmas. Since then, our house has been taken over by Rescue Hero mania! My son adores each and every one of them. A couple of them came with videos (which he wants to watch all day, every day). We love the positive lessons that they teach. He just earned the command center today. He is so excited! It was easy to put together and he's having a blast. It's been 5 months since he recieved his first one, and he hasn't stopped playing with them yet. Our friends son has had them for at least 2 years (he's now 6) and still loves them as much as when he first got them. They are so durable and really cute. I think that I have as much fun playing with them as he does. Because all of the pieces are large I don't have to worry about them being all over the house where my 10 month old can get ahold of them. She seems to have a lot of fun pushing the vehicles around and chewing on their heads! I definetly recommend these toys!

We purchase this toy as a christmas gift for our three year old son. It turned out to be his favorite present. He especially likes to record messages and play them back, over and over again. This is a very good line of toys, we have several of the rescue hero figures and he enjoy's them as well. Also they now have a rescue hero cartoon on saturday mornings on cbs. It is a great alternative to a lot of the more violent action figure shows, and my son actually likes to watch it.

My 6 year old son has had this toy for 2 years and still loves it.If that isn't amazing enough, not one thing has broken on it(even when he and his friends have stood on it). These big footed action figures that go with it have last right along side of it too.I can't praise these "HEREOS" enough I feel good about the message they send to my son.
