Editorial Review
The Sparkling Symphony Violin is designed to encourage babies' developing senses through an introduction to classical music. The sparkly violin-shaped toy is adorned with colorful stars, and features a handle, rattling beads in the neck, and two tuning keys. The strings, however, are all attached and don't move independently. When youngsters press anywhere on the block of conjoined strings, they are rewarded with a rather chirpy, mechanical rendition of a classical selection. The packaging is somewhat misleading, in that it suggests each toy in the Sparkling Symphony series plays a variety of tunes. Alas, each plays only one short selection. It requires two button-cell batteries (included).
