Rocket Fun, that hasn't even made it into the tub!,

This is a simple toy, and my kids love it. It doesn't make noise, it hasn't even made it into the bathtub and the turtle's been lost since we received it as a gift. Even with all that Rocket and Leo are always the first things my daughter goes to when she gets home from preschool. Great for imagination play, she likes to do dialog from the show. The bottom of Rocket opens so you can stow Leo and the turtle inside, which is nice, (but it's not very easy for little fingers to open without help). Also, it's a very sturdy toy, it's been tossed, kicked, steped on, opened and closed a lot, yet the hinge hasn't broken, and looks none the worse for wear.

I bought this item from my son at Target. He seems to enjoy playing with it. I'm shocked to see the price on this item on Amazon as Target has it for 10.99.

We gave this toy to our 2 year son for his birthday and it's been a hit. He carries it to the tub and out. I like that you can store the extra toys in rocket, however, it's hard for him to open. We have really gotten our dollars out of this little toy and I would recommend it!

My 2 yo loves this toy. We got it because she is to little for the pat pat rocket. She loves this and sleeps with it on occasion, which of course is toddler speak for my favorite toy!!

My daughter got this on her birthday and she does play with it when she takes a bath but it is a very basic plastic toy - not worth $25. According to other reviews, you can find it much cheaper at Target, Wal-Mart or K-Mart. It does not come with Annie as described and she showed no interest in the turtle since it has nothing to do with The Little Einsteins.

If your child is into Little Einsteins, this toy will be a hit in the bathtub. Shame on Amazon for a terrible price though. This is a third of the price at Target!

I got this for $13 at Target. It's not hard to find like that Pat Pat Rocket, so there's no need to overpay.

This toy sinks in the tub and is almost impossible to open the hatch for storage of characters. Does not seem to have any attraction for play.

This was a birthday present for a 2 year old boy who absolutely loves the Little Einsteins. He really likes the toy and plays with Rocket nand Leo all the time, in and out of the tub. My only complaint is the same as some other reviewers, that Rocket is very hard to open. My son cannot do it by myself and I even have a hard time with it sometimes.

My son is, like many his age (3) a Little Einsteins fanatic. This is one of his favorite tub toys as he gets to splash and crash his "bath time Rocket" at will. A few observations:
1. Doesn't come with the other 3 Little Einsteins. Please don't think your toddler will overlook this. Be prepared with explanations. "Quincy, June and Annie are on another mission" will work exactly one time. :-) 2. Leo and the turtle will fit inside the storage compartment of the sub. 3. The toy has proven to be fairly durable thought the paint on the underside scratches easily. Overall a good tub time toy. |
