This is the first stuffed animal that my two-month old son really reacts to. He smiles at and bats his arms at Big Bird. He even "talks" to it in his crib. I think it is the bright colors that he loves.

I bought this toy for my babies first birthday. It is a wonderful size for a 1-year-old to hold onto. We do not watch Sesame Street, but nevertheless, she still loves the Bigbird toy. She likes to bite the hair off of stuffed animals, but Bigbird has a different kind of material that is baby proof! We have parrots in our house and she knows Bigbird is indeed a bird. She picks him up and makes bird calls to him and smiles. So cute! He is also the perfect size for riding in her toy wagons and trains, wheras other stuffed animals are too big and fall out. A must have baby toy for babies that eat the fur off normal stuffed animals.
