Fun for kids
My daughter loved it instantly. The head is not soft, so it's not as cuddly as expected.

Hard Headed
Bought as a gift for friend daughter, she has a new brother, and Elmo comes with a carrier and pacifier. He is cute and comes with a birth certificate. Elmo smells like baby powder, which is a smell I never liked. The worst is he is not cozy because his head is a thick plastic doll head. But, she can change his diaper while mommy changes her new brothers.

He smells wonderful. I never imagined saying that about an Elmo toy. He's cute. BUT his head is HARD! Really hard. My 2 year old adores "Mo" and loves carrying him around with her, but the few times she's tried to lay down and cuddle him she's wound up smacking him against her and then crying. He really has a hard head. We've made him a "daytime only" toy. She loves giving him his pacifier, but I usually have to shove it in as his mouth is very tight (I swear this is becoming the oddest toy review). And the diaper, while cute, vanished within minutes of opening him. Other than the monster head, he is very soft and cute.

My niece loves Elmo. It was her first word said, so when her second Birthday was coming, I decided to get her an Elmo toy. I settled on this toy for various reasons and am very happy about the purchase. When I first got the Elmo, I thought it looked a bit off. It is called a "Baby Elmo" so I assume they just took Elmo's face and sort of compacted it a bit which to me causes the features to be a bit distorted. Nothing my niece noticed though so maybe I am wrong. The next thing I notice the head is made out of hard plastic/rubber material. It makes sense seeing the head needs to be hard for the pacifer to be pushed into Elmo's mouth. My niece did have a few problems getting the pacifer in because she lacked the strength, but it seems now she can get it in with no problems. The rest of the body is soft. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase because my niece loves it. This review is written by her 26 year old Uncle just for reference.

this was purchased for my sons 2nd birthday. It is a great alternative to a baby doll. He cuddles with it and enjoys sleeeping with it. Other reviews stated they don"t like the hard head but it makes sense for the pacifier to stay in. greatt for both boys and girls.

This baby Elmo was fun to play with for my 2 year old niece. She loves taking care of this baby as she's waiting for her new baby sister or brother to be born.
