We've had this toy for over 6 months and I can say HONESTLY that my 2 year old has played with it every day that we have been home for her to play with it.
A lot of medical kits for kids are put together badly and just seem "cheap" - but this one really doesn't it. I feel like I paid more for it than I did.
The cookie monster stethoscope says "exercise make you healthy" "mmmm...strong heartbeat" and a very rhthmic "boom boom ba boom" that my daughter just loves.
She was always scared to go to the doctor before, but we got this kit and had her watch "Elmo goes to the doctor" on sesamestreet.com and now she thinks it's fun!
I really don't think you could be diappointed with this purchase. It is THE favorite toy at our house!

We got this for my daughters 1st birthday. She loves carrying the case and tools all around the house. Not only does she like it, so does her 5 year old brother!! Its a very cute set!

This is an absolutely great toy but where did this price come from??
Toys R Us sells this for $14.99. I always check Amazon first because I usually get the best price but this is a ridiculously huge price difference.

My daughter is a huge Elmo fan so I figured this would be a hit when she got it for a gift. She enjoys playing with it - she'll check our hearts just to hear Cookie Monster talk, look in our ears with the Big Bird tool, or put the band aid on our 'boo-boo.' She's less interested in it than other toys - but that may be because she rarely needs to go to the doctor herself. I like that the thermometer is much bigger than a real one - so it's impossible to have any choking incidents. The blood pressure cuff is too difficult for her to use - she can't squeeze the bulb hard enough to make the rubber ducky spin on the dial.

The ear piece to the cookie monster stethescope is very short, my child couldn't put it on correctly and they have a small face. The stethscope is the only acessory that makes a sound; the other pieces don't. The elmo kit is too small; all the pieces can't fit inside of it.

My 1 yr old received this for Christmas last year, and didn't pay too much attention to it until he hit about 1 1/2 yrs old. From that point, he has LOVED playing doctor with Mommy and his Elmo set! Definitely is fun for him to play with a friend or with Mommy. He doesn't touch it when playing by himself.
