This is a great toy. Although it seems quite simple, I've been pleasantly surprised at how much my youngest son and daughter enjoy playing with it (doesn't interest my 5 yr old). My kids will quietly pull it out and start exploring it, calling to me to with exclamations of delight as they discover its features ("Oh Mamma, look!"). I've found it's more of an independent play toy, rather than a sharing toy, and keeps their focused attention for quite a while. Good opportunity to learn the concept of sharing and patiently waiting for your turn. Lots of bells and buttons to push and they enjoy seeing the cupcake plump up and the mac'n'cheese flip over. Very cute, lots of laughs. Recommended for the pre-kindergarten kiddos.

Our grandson loves this toy and plays it constantly. He has had it since he was about 12 months. He loves the muffin that rises in the oven and he plays like he is eating it and loving the way it tastes by saying Goooood!!! Elmo is his favorite character so this is a perfect toy for him. The Sesame street characters say varous funny things and a nice song plays along with the cooking. He loves to pull the oven door open early and it says "Not Ready". We always tell him it is not ready and he laughs. He now almost 18 months and he still enjoys, preparing the muffin by pushing it down, pushing the keys to start the process, watching the muffin rise or other items spin in the microwave and pulling the door open and enjoying his lay food.
Your results may differ, but this is a real winner with us. He has one at his house and at our house and he never seems to tire of it.

My son loves to imitate us and he loves elmo so this wa ssuper fun to him. My only suggestion is that it should have numbers like a real microwave then it would add a little educational value to the toy. But regardless it's super fun!

I purchased this for my elmo obsessed nephew for Christmas when he was 2. He just turned 3 and he still loves it as well as his 1 year old younger sister and my 20 month old son. Very cute toy.

I purchased the Elmo Giggling Microwave for my two year old son for Christmas, and it has been played with non stop! All three kids sit and play with it, and they come up with some crazy food combinations! It lights up and the turn table actually spins like the real thing. All in all, I'm glad I got it for them and would highly reccommend it to any Elmo fan!!

Out of all the gifts for Christmas, this was my 2-year-old's favorite. He played with it for an hour straight. It's a lot cuter than I thought it would be, a little tune plays while the food is "cooking" and it sounds like something out of The Sims. It has a light inside, and my son can open and close it with ease. Love it!

My grand daughter loved her xmas morning. We had so much fun with this. Very durable I can tell you from experience. Great seller.

I bought this Elmo microwave after my 2 year old fell in love with it at the store. It is great for toddlers and younger children, They love to push the buttons and hear all of the characters voices and different sounds. They love putting things in and out of the microwave. It is very durable since it has had constant use for over 6 months and shows no signs of wear, The only "complaint" is that my daughter had a tough time when she was younger actually putting the food on the piece in the middle so it could pop up, however, she didn't really seem to mind that it was not connected. This is a great microwave for any Sesame Street fan!

This Elmo toy was purchased for my grand-daughter. She loved it. I loved it. Great play item; even the adults at her party had to microwave!

I'm so glad I found this toy while my grandkids are still young enough to enjoy it! Elmo talks & tells them the foods "Not ready" if they open it too soon! I love the music it plays while the food is cooking also. It is very interactive and teaches how the microwave works, instead of just making noise. I am so glad I found it online, it is a seasonal item , in the stores.
