As noted by another reviewer, the boat sinks... strange. My 1-year-old son picked this out from the toy store shelf, and he likes it, but it is stupid that the boat is not made to float, when it would appear to be a bath toy.

I bought this bath toy for my son and even though he likes it, every 30 seconds I have to pull it from the bottom of the tub to drain the water out so it floats again. They actually stamped holes on the bottom of the boats. I don't get it?

We purchased this toy at our local Toys R Us. It looked so cute. Unfortunately, looks are deceiving! The large boat is full of holes so as soon as our son pushed it down into the water...it SANK! Worst of all, it takes forever to drain all the water out of it. We plan to return it to the store. I wish I had read the reviews on Amazon BEFORE we bought it. Don't waste your money on this!

My 18mth loves elmo and bath time so it should have been a hit. Out of the bath it was, once in the bath we were disappointed to find that the bottom boat fills with water very easily and sinks & the second red boat tips and does 'sail' upright at all. The very cute submarine is a water squirter that proved to be very difficult for little hands to fill and squeeze. Thankfully my DD is content with carrying the elmo and ernie figurines around and playing with them. The boat is not really worth the extra space in our bath toy box.

Good. I'm not crazy and my boat is not defective. Apparently the big yellow/blue boat is MADE to sink. Perfect! A tub toy....a BOAT tub toy that has holes in the bottom of it, which causes it to sink. What fun! Teaching kids that boats do, in fact, sink when they have holes in the bottom of them is a good life lesson. But if only my 1 year old could grasp that concept, then we'd be in business! Shucks.I read the toy packaging from top to bottom, and sideways to see if there were any instructions for how to keep the boat from sinking or why it sinks, but there's no instructions. I just had a thought though...maybe the point is to have the big boat sink down and then the little red boat in the back of the boat stays floating. Well, except that THAT boat also has holes up near the top rim of the boat so as soon as it tips or gets water in it, it sinks, too. Maybe the point is for both boats to sink and the yellow submarine in the red boat is supposed to be the one that floats? That seems backwards. Well, I'm not sure what kind of mind trip this toy is going for, but my daughter does love the Elmo and Ernie figures that come with it and she's had great fun playing with them...and they float.

My daughter has been playing with this toy in the bath for the last week. The red sail boat is the part she likes most. The larger of the boats has holes in the bottom and it doesn't stay upright very well. Overall she has fun with it and that is all that really matters.

I purchased the Fisher-Price Sesame Street Stack'n Play Boats for my 22month old grandson for Christmas. He loves to watch Bert and Ernie on television, he learns many things, so with the play boats he uses his imagination, can learn colors, and enjoy bathtime even more.
