5.0 out of 5 stars The only high chair you will ever need
This is the only high chair we have ever had for our daughter, and I cannot say enough good things about it. 3.0 out of 5 stars cute but food gets under pad
Hi I own this seat for about 7 months now. The design is beautiful, the only thing in the design area I would change is to make the straps dark brown so the spinach and broccoli don't show up on it as much.

As far as the design of the seat goes, I find that somehow my lovely 15mo daughter always find ways to collect large amounts of food under the pad. I took...

This is the only high chair we have ever had for our daughter, and I cannot say enough good things about it. In addition to it being very sturdy, adjustable, and relatively portable (we took it with us on a couple of road trips), it is also very easy to clean. With the little ones, you know how important that can be! The entire padded fabric portion comes off and can be washed separately, and any food or drink that gets under the padding can then easily be cleaned.

Another nice feature is that once your baby is a bit older, you can remove the tray and slide the chair right up to the table, where they can eat off a plate like a big person. Our daughter loves this. It is a feature that a traditional high chair generally does not seem to offer.

I highly recommend this high chair.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a Dinner Saver!!!!, February 21, 2010
This review is from: Fisher-Price Space Saver Highchair - Beautiful Garden (Baby Product)
Wow! This item has totally changed dinners for us!!!! We had a full sized high chair for our first two children. Now, baby #3 is 10 months and every time she was in the high chair she would fuss, screach and act tired, not to mention eat poorly. For months we've been struggling through dinners. It's been such a headache.

Finding flaws in our high chair and now not having so much room for it, I bought this one yesterday.

AMAZING!!!!

It fits perfectly. I love...
... the height can be adjusted.
... the tray is a very nice size.
... the tray has a nice lip to it, keeping food inside.
... the tray fits close up to baby (and can be adjusted out further) like the old time high chairs. This allows our little one to see all her food, reach her bottle in the cup holders, and crumbs fall back onto it.
... our daughter's dinner posture is improved in this one.
... it reclines for just drinking a bottle.
... the straps that keep it secure on the chair are nice and thick.
... all buckles "snap" shut.
... it's beautiful.
... not a lot of places for food to go and get lost/forgotten.

I just love it. And, for dinner tonight, our daughter was the first one to the table and the last one to leave. She actually enjoys sitting there. Not a screach out of her and she ate very well! I am so elated!!!!

Thank you, Fisher Price!

1.0 out of 5 stars Hate this high chair, April 1, 2011
This review is from: Fisher-Price Space Saver Highchair - Beautiful Garden (Baby Product)
I bought two of these chairs for my twins because of the good reviews I read here. I have not ever been more disappointed in a product! They are impossible to clean. The padding is a pain to remove and reinstall and does not stay clean longer than one use. The manufacturer states that it is wipeable. I suppose this is true, but wiping often doesn't remove whatever food stained it. After you fight to remove the padding, the crotch strap is even more difficult to remove. In fact, during the 10 months I've owned these chairs, I've never been able to remove the crotch strap. This means that it is no longer white, it is multi-stained and food is gunked up inside the buckle. And speaking of gunked-up food, the handles of these chairs have tiny little plastic compartments where your baby will be sure to smoosh food into. Unless you own a tiny chisel, you may as well forget ever cleaning that out. Lastly, there is a 3/4" space between the seat and the chair that you strap it to. That means there will be lots of crumbs and crud stuck to your chair underneath the highchair. Of course, you can unstrap it from the chair to clean off the chair underneath, but you will need to do that daily if you want to preserve the quality of your kitchen chair.

I am so unhappy with this product, that I am beginning to wonder if the manufacturer is the writer of the rave reviews that prompted me to buy this product.

I took the beautiful pad (the reason I bought this chair) off, washed it and I'm storing in hope that one day she won't be as messy and will be able to sit on it. Until then I'm saving myself the extra chore of washing the pad every other day because it looks super filthy.

One more complaint, it is virtually impossible for me to take the tray off using the middle latch. I always have to use both hands and use the side latches to take that bloody thing off. Wouldn't buy again despite how cute it looks.

So I have owned this highchair since my daughter was about 4 months old! It is cute and great when babies arent self feeding at all...however like the other lower rate reviewers, the thing is just plain gross, im sorry but unless you only have one child and enjoy laundering this thing 2x plus a week, i would go for something that truly is wipeable, this is fabric and someone needs to invent something that keeps straps clean because i have yet to see any highchairs or carseats for that matter that are easy to keep clean-overall, its pretty and does save space but is very hard to keep clean

5.0 out of 5 stars Vibrant colors, great purchase!, February 7, 2011

I love how soft and thicker this cushion is compared to the other pink one that fisher price makes. The only thing that I often forget about is the food that collects underneath the cushion. I would recommend looking under it every other day just so you're not surprised as to how much food accumulates after a week of time. Vibrant colors, great purchase!

4.0 out of 5 stars love all but the constant need to wash, January 25, 2011

This review is from: Fisher-Price Space Saver Highchair - Beautiful Garden (Baby Product)
the chair is beautiful and works well. My dislikes: my straps are now ugly brown and i haven't figured out a way to clean them yet.. and i dont use the pad anymore. i save it to put on the chair when visitors are over. It would be easier if it was a simple wipe down pad and not one you have to wash in the washer.
love the ability to adjust the arm rests: i like to pull the chair up to the table so my 16 month old can color. :-)

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE IT!, November 2, 2010

This is everything we needed. With three kids, we needed something that didn't take up so much space like out old high chair, with legs that stuck waaaaay out. This takes up no more room than a chair, we were able to use it to have our daughter at the table with us for mealtimes since she was very young because it tilts back and cradles them. The tray comes off very easily, everything washes up easy and it's a great product. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than the traditional high chair, August 24, 2010

I bought this high chair for my daughter to go in our kitchen eating space on one of our dining room chairs because in our new home we don't have room for a bulky high chair (which I am not a fan of anyway). It is wonderful! It allows my dinner to eat WITH us at the table rather than separately in a high chair that is at a different level than our table.

The seat can recline into numerous positions, and the tray tilts so that it is always level for baby. The whole tray can go into the dishwasher, and the fabric cover is washable. The chair is EASY to assemble and strap to a chair. The webbing straps to secure it to a dining room chair are strong and durable. The five point harness allows extra security. When my daughter is older I'll be able to take off the tray and scoot her up to the table.

I highly recommend buying this high chair, even if you do have room for a more traditional stand-alone high-chair.

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT Little Chair, October 2, 2011

My granddaughter and her husband received one of these as a gift for their little one. Since they spend do much time here, I needed a highchair for the baby. So, we purchased the same one only in a different pattern. What a life saver! It attaches easily (to a dining room chair), it is very sturdy and I love the tray "can go in the dishwasher" directions. The baby is happy and secure and I am happy that I do not have to have a full highchair cluttering my home. Congrats to the designer of this - a great functional and safe item to have.
