5.0 out of 5 stars You won't find this one on Hotels.com, April 24, 2003

This review is from: Fisher Price Sweet Streets Hotel (Toy)
My daughter received the hotel for her third birthday (She now has the school, beach house, and hotel) and she loves it. Her favorite person is the bell hop. She loves running him through the neighborhood, carrying bags.

The compactness of this toy is great. Being able to close it up is a great plus. I also like that Fisher-Price has tethered the floating ring to the pool. That way this piece won't get lost.

This is another addition to the Sweet Street neighborhood that I think any child (2-10) would enjoy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet Streets Collector, April 14, 2003

My girls have fallen in love with Sweet Streets. They are 4 and 7 years old. We have most of them and they are a hit when friends come over and play. They are so portable too. And although we love the Loving Family Dollhouse, the Sweet Streets seem to keep their attention better. I think it's because we have so many that each girl can have their own family. But for those who haven't seen them in person, they are small hence the price.

The Hotel has so many features. The elevator is especially popular. The pool is a close second.

One thing I would change is the mail in offer for the play mat. I'm trying to figure out why they can't just sell them at a store for like $5.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another big hit from Fisher Price!, December 20, 2003
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:4.0 out of 5 stars

My 4-year-old daughter just loves her Fisher Price toys. And, though she still plays with her FP Little People Farm, she's really enjoying the "bigger kid" items, like the Sweet Streets line. She's also got the FP Loving Family & Horse Stable, which is a great toy, but the Sweet Streets line is just perfect for taking along on trips, to Grandma's house, or even to another room in the house. They store easily in her closet and don't require a dedicated corner of her bedroom...

The hotel is very cute. My daughter particularly enjoys playing with the elevator (which really moves) and the pool w/ a slide. She also has started to line up her Sweet Streets toys to make a little "city", which is fun for her. She is kept very entertained by the toys, which is sometimes nice for Mom as well... She's getting the Sweet Streets Beach House for Christmas and I'm sure will love it just as much!

5.0 out of 5 stars A great interactive, affordable & portable toy, January 26, 2005
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Fisher Price Sweet Streets Hotel (Toy)
My almost-5 year old twin daughters each received a Sweet Streets house for Christmas. The one who got this hotel has fond memories of our family reunion and staying in a hotel with a pool. This toy has been a delight for her to play with. In my opinion, it is a perfect "between-age kid" toy, as my girls are beyond baby dolls and not yet into the Barbie scene (I'm trying to hold off on that as long as I can!). The furniture is sturdy and has some very nice detail (the breakfast tray has food, a coffee caraf and a newspaper) and the pool with slide and the working elevator are terrific. The fact that the entire set folds up into itself and can be carried over to play with their cousin who also has a SS Townhouse is marvelous. For the price, this item has great play value and a collection can be added to with all the other nifty houses & shops without much expense.

I bought this toy for my daughter's second birthday and she loves it. She has named all the people that come with the Hotel after family members and friends. She is a very active toddler but this toy keeps her attention for a long time. It is very durable and compact. She has dropped it down the stairs and it is still in perfect condition.

I love the whole Sweet Streets town, I have bought 5 of the 10 items for the whole town, and plan to buy the other 5. Loving family playsets are the only things my daughter loves playing with and can't get enough of. They definetly help when we travel.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Daycare Item, February 26, 2003

I bought this toy for my family daycare. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of accessories that were included. The house is compact, lightweight and self-stores all of the included accessories. I am planning on purchasing more of the Sweet Streets buildings however, as the size is small (about 8" high) and while that is perfect for one or two children, a group of children would have trouble playing with it together. I think that 2 or 3 buildings set up in a "village" would work better. Overall, this toy gets a grade of "A" in my book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Also great for Polly Pockets, August 13, 2008

My daughter has other well made Sweet Streets sets (house and school) and we just ordered this one. She uses the sets for Polly Pockets since the Polly Pocket sets fall apart with the slightest touch and the characters are the same size.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Play Set!, December 7, 2003

My 6 yr old daughter and even my 2yr old son LOVE playing with this set. We've been collecting the sets for almost 2 years and we have almost all of the pieces for both the East and West playmats. I love that there are many different buildings so that both my children can play at the same time (no fighting!). And they store away so easily.
It's so much more fun for my kids to set up an entire town than just a single dollhouse. This really helps them use their imagination.
I just can't say enough positive things about these sets. Thanks Fisher Price!
